DXDIAG? MS needs to update it. DX12_0 and DX11_1 feature levels are the same if I'm not mistaken. ie DX12_0 is just an API architecture change so it doesn't add any new features. DX12 works on existing cards and drivers so that is all that matters.

I've just seen a split second of 140fps in pCARS for the first time ever with Catalyst 15.7s, before dinner I saw 134fps for a split second in 1023.10s (using "low" for essential details, most extras "off" and FXAA "high" for AA).

The 1040s have been de-throned as pCARS champions, for their successor to be usurped in less than 24 hours! :D

Not even contemplating installing this. 34 °C = Intel HD summer time :D
But paying attention to everyone's feedback.

Anyone has any idea why is AMD in their release notes interchangeably calling this driver 15.7/15.20

With gtx980 dxdiag shows dx12 lvl 12.1, so it was fixed around build 1014*

    Another AMD fail....

where is the ultrawide support ?

no 2560x1080p VSR support so that we can get correct aspect ratio formats. when enabling VSR typical amd ......

guess i wont be using VSR and sticking to my custom resolution with CRU.

Honestly this is the single reason I got rid of my R9 290. I loved that card.
Actually more then my 670 sli, but with not 21:9 support for VSR I just couldnt stick with it.

I can have 5120x2160 DSR on my 670 sli which is fantastic for older games.
Max I had with my 290 was 3200x1800. CRU would not do crap for me on newest drivers. I would have been very happy to have 3440x1440 on my R9 290.

It wouldnt work past Omega drivers for me.
No matter what I did. Getting 4k to work was a b*tch when I had my 25 inch 1080p lcd.

CRU worked fine for me for as long as I can remember; but then again, the only thing I did with it was bump up the refresh rate on my panel(s) (from 60Hz to 75Hz).

The frame rate limiter is there on mine, but i can't see VSR anywhere - its not in any menu at all.
