This is the only game I'm excited about this year!
Can't wait until 15 of september when the steam version will be released.

I hope I can resist 2 weeks without buying the PS4 version LOL.

What annoys me a bit are the constant Hya's when sprinting with the horse or Quiets Hmm-Hmmms.

guys can anyone confirm the info that mgs 5 doesnt support win10??

 

It could be for some other game but if I remember correctly it's not especially tested on Windows 10 but it should work though it won't use DirectX 12 and if required compatibility patches will be made after the game has been released.
(I think it will run fine though, DX12 would have added an additional performance boost but it could maybe be patched in later, could imagine Nvidia whom I think they are still working with would want to showcase D3D12 as early as possible in a actual game.)

 

While I don't want to support Konami.... chances are I will still end up with this game.
It's bundled with the EVGA 970 card I'm going to be getting. So, I can still enjoy it... without paying Konami for their bull****.

 

I believe it was Kojima (may have been a Kojima Productions employee) that said that while they appreicated the support (in regards to a boycott due Konami's treatment of the team), that please purchase the game as to not waste all their hardwork, espically due to the last few months of bull**** they've been dealt.

Not in those words, but you get the idea.

This is why i'm still purchasing the game and cant wait. Im not pre-ordering, but if user experience and reviews report it to be working day 1, then it'll be a day 1 purchase for me.

This, Doom, No Mans, Deus EX and Uncharted HD (all i can think if at the mo) is what im looking forward to over the next year. I might pick batman up in next years steam sale or if there are thirdparty keys going for less than a tenner.

There's not a lot I'm watching...
This is one.

But Doom, Shadow Warrior 2, DX:Mankind Divided, Mafia III... Mad Max... Fallout 4. That's about all of my list.

I'm hoping this one turns out good. I was very, VERY pleased to read in a couple previews that it's a step away from previous MGS titles.
More gameplay, less cutscenes.

 

I agree. While i enjoyed the cutscenes, it was more the fact that it gave me a break from the fun, but tired old gameplay mechanics. Since playing SC:Chaos Theory, MGS stealth has always felt to awkward and stiff imo.

Its great that you noe have more fluid control over snake (or whoever he is now) and the open worldness of levels is fantastic. Gonna do another proper plathrough of GZ this weekend, such an awesome game. Dat intro.

 

I need to replay that as well.

 

Hideo Kojima made the Gamescom video, it's like a little poke at Konami.. perhaps?.. Or maybe I'm just thinking into it too much xD
