^ Especially since that water cooling is not $100 more expensive than Air cooling which will be used on regular Fury.

I watched the live event and the CEO said it would be exactly the same except not watercooled.

@ Tarot, how does the card feel? Gameplay wise?

That's not true at all. I don't have a card and MSI didn't even sent it yet. So it will take a few weeks just until it arrives here. Then (if voltage regultor is software controllable) it will take some time to implement support for it.
I cannot promise that voltage control will be available as I've not seen the card yet.

It's cut down as that's what they do with X and none X. The people doubting it just want to doubt for fun. The AMD event never mentioned about a none water cooled Fury X and the Fury X is locked to reference so it would make that absolutely redundant if they then allowed 3rd party coolers for a none X with the same shaders.

They did. She called it the Fury. Check keynote again.

Re-read what I said. She never mentioned about a none water cooled Fury X, she talked about a Fury with air cooler, there's a difference.

    smooth as butter.
a lot better than my overclocked 290x.
as an example I still play UT3 and this thing eats it and spits it out regardless of what is going on, I have a few hard nasty demos and averages 135 fps in all of them, more if it is light action.

    now the killer
    ARK survival.
this game is the new crysis and will drag pretty much any system down kicking and screaming.
I could not go near epic on my 290x but can on this (still mid 20's low 30's but playable.
throw it down to hard and avg about 40 odd fps (with the same monitor res mentioned above)

now there is one issue but must be driver related and that is advanced ambient occlusion....screws up badly. only tested in dirt rally and ark survival though.

I must have missed that, as normally the non Xs are slightly cut down, will have to see when it appears. :)

Good to hear you don't have any whine, enjoy! :D

    Just got my Fury X.

It's much smaller than I was expecting -- and I knew it was small. It's really quite beautiful.

3DMark bench on June 8 1040 drivers (modded to run with Win10):

I feel this should be higher? I guess there's no official Windows 10 support atm.

Yeah I was comparing combined scores with the press benches and wondering why it was falling so short -- my CPU isn't hanging with the big boys much these days.

    Mystery solved.

that gpu score is 300 short of the gpu score for 980 ti on g3d while it is 900 better then g3d fury x review score  not bad at all.

I think the only AMD driver that supports Fury in Win 10, comes through windows update.

Nice! What brand? I'm trying to make notes and find out what brands are making loud pump noise.

It's strange nobody talked about it yet.

Fury X video rom is missing UEFI support (not talking about gpu-z, it's garbage way to check for uefi)

I've looked at dump of fury x rom that was posted on these forums (or on oc.co.uk) and there is only pc bios part, UEFI part is missing.

Could AMDMatt please comment if we will see some update for fury x rom with UEFI support ?
