Sorry for the confusion. The cities around San Francisco area considered the Bay Area. NVIDIA headquarters is in Santa Clara which is considered part of the South Bay.

The hotfix driver has passed QA testing and we have also reached out to a dozen end users who have posted feedback that they were experiencing the TDRs and those users all came back saying the driver fixed the issue for them so the driver is clear for posting later today.

    Excellent!! Glad to hear!!

I hope this helps out my GTA5 stuttering too... I managed to fix it by doing an .inf edit and loading the 350.12 driver on my 980 Ti cards. But really that isn't the best solution. lol

    :)

Unfortunately no but I did file a new bug to look into this based on some new feedbacks I read from users with the latest driver.

Thanks! Yah I submitted a bug report as well earlier this week. I hope the stuttering problem gets sorted out, it's rather annoying.

Ok so why would Bay Area users only as the thread implies only be suffering with driver issues? I live in the UK yet have the same problems. Just asking like......had you had a few beers that night or am I missing the point here?lol

Seems to me Nvidia looked for feedback close to the area so they could solve the issue faster. (bring the pc over is even possible).

I am guessing but they probably wanted someone close by so they could install debugging software with a special driver to catch the issue .
It could very well take hrs to catch so its easier than trying to do it remotely .

Then they uninstall all debugging software and give you back PC :)

    thats just a guess .

Just had a TDR with only Firefox and Filezilla running (no PrecisionX or etc) on Win7 64bit with a GTX580. Crash reports are on dropbox if ManualG is still around...
