Same here haha, altough I had a rather crappy seat since I arrived late and the cinema was almost full. Decent entertainment, a lot of cheesy cheese bits though.
It absolutely is, and I was kind of pissed that the cinema was almost empty on Mad Max premiere and almost full on Jurassic World (it wasn't even premiere)...
Mad Max was one cluster**** of a movie man, the whole movie one was 1 scene, IT NEVER ENDED LOL! Boom this boom that this happened that happened .. lol, .. XD
Jurassic world was so full at our theater that we waited in line for an hour and weren't even first. There were like 80 people behind us by 9:30
We were 8 people in the main movie hall for jurassic world, which could seat 200+... lol But perhaps that says more about danes not really favouring going to the movies (i certaintly dont).
Sorry to say, for me Jurassic World was total pile of trash. Mad Max was not up to full standard, but how can someone beat Mel Gibson's performance in each movie. +That old atmosphere, I loved it so much. Fury Road was not bad at all, it had spirit, nearly as good camera work as old ones. And action and ideas were pretty crazy. So, in total, good reboot. And I will likely go for next one to cinema too.
https://www.yahoo.com/movies/james-cameron-genisys-terminator-endorsement-121016156362.html Cameron liked it, he didn't like the last two movies. There's hope!
Good to know, Terminator 1 is one of my favorite action (I would even go as far as calling it a horror) movies and if the maker of that one is pleased with Genysis then it's good news. I can already say that they got one thing right, and that's the trailers and teasers. :nerd:
most of the comments here pretty much confirm my worry that this movie isn't going to deliver... saw the first in the cinema with my father sneaking me in as i was underage then, lol. i remember we both being really excited prior to seeing it and amazed after. it really was a milestone but this just seems to be another attempt to reviving a masterpiece with todays tools of movie making for the mass instead of trying to really do something special.
I was excited for it so went to see it last week and reluctantly (for her) dragged the girlfriend along to keep me company, who had no interest at all in seeing it. Guess who liked it the most? The girlfriend did. Its not a 'bad' movie at all, but just a bit too cliché and predictable. You didn't really care for the characters. The story was nothing new. It didn't have that 'edge of the seat' parts in it like the first (trex part, kitchen part, etc), or even the second one (trex trailer part, etc). It has lost its appeal to me. The first one I was excited to see the dinosaurs and the lead up was just right, but this one I wasn't too bothered and a little underwhelmed when I did see them. Not sure if its an age thing (mid 40's) or just a poor movie. As I said, it not a bad movie and worthy of a watch and perhaps even a purchase when released on blu ray. I guess I was expecting too much (so was disappointed) and the girlfriend wasn't too bothered about seeing it (but really enjoyed it). Go in with low hopes and you may just enjoy it.
We saw this movie last week and every time I think of the movie series, I think of how dark and disturbing the book series is. I liked the movie, the ending was a little cheesy...But I liked it.
