What is this stupid "hype train" people keep talking about? There was no hype train - it's all in YOUR heads. AMD themselves always overhypes their own products, so you can't take them seriously. All these charts that HH pointed out over the past few months were all stated with "take with a grain of salt". We knew what the GPU stats were a long time ago - the ONLY thing that really separated this GPU was the HBM, and the HBM has proven its worth.

I like AMD more than most people around here but even I knew that it was not going to derail Maxwell. Damn people, stop being so gullible.

Disappointed, would rather get a 980ti and oc.

if he's on 4k, then fair play, even then, if he's on 4k, he's an enthusiast and he will be overclocking the cards. In which case the 980ti is still faster.

I think he does whatever he wants no matter what even if it doesn't really make any sense.

Overclocking on FuryX is pretty piss poor from every review I've seen. Only because it runs cool it doesn't mean it'll overclock well. It looks like FuryX is running near it's maximum out the box.

The Hype train most AMD Fanbois were on with leaks etc for months and months?

you must of been in a cave to miss them >.>

Reserving judgement on overclocking until voltage control, so tempted to start quoting "an overclockers dream" though...

    That was a disapointment...
I don't really care about the 4k numbers, almost all are barely playable...
they said in the charts 32 db from the fans. here we see almost 42.
    Overclocking? puff...
AMD you overhyped this product and underwhelmed its consumers, i don't knowwhats worse, this or a graphics card with 3,5G sold as a 4G.
    :(

No, I just think brand loyalty is idiotic. That's how people get screwed over and look like fools. I support those who I feel deserve it. That being said, nvidia did a great job with Maxwell, so if I were looking to buy a new GPU I would be supporting them. I would be perfectly fine with a Fury X, but AMD seemed to not give a crap about this latest generation. They just released something because they knew they were overdue for a new series.

My 670's are feeling really old. MSI needs to hurry up and release the Gaming/Lightning cards I was very close to ordering an EVGA superclocked last nignt lol.

    haha ;)

Can't be sure until voltage is unlocked though :p

I am generally sad with AMD of the last few years. You probably would'nt believe it but for years, I only bought AMD CPU's and ATI GPU's - even the jet engines of old! (Ahhh, those jet engines....)

At least this is a big step in the right direction!

The fact that it runs cool will help when increasing the core voltage.

"it is going to beat Titan X".... yeah, in your dreams!
Nice 980Ti is still the king =)

And once again we are reminded on AMD's poor driver support... I would really like to see a crossfire review. I think I already know how well it will go...

Something I posted in another thread...
