Nice, been waiting for this driver for a while now. Had some problems with the official Witcher 3 driver so hopefully this one is more stable than the last
Might be something else in your System causing those. I havn't had a TDR crash for atleast 3 years now.
Anyone who has a chance to install these and fire up Witcher 3, please report your findings. I won't be able to try till late tonight.
What happened to the older posts? http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=400215&page=3 Looks like the thread with people saying these drivers were an insult has been replaced with this one
I was one of those that blamed the drivers for the TDR issue because rolling back solved it but I think those drivers only exposed instabilities on the system even at stock speeds or something that I dont really know. On my system, I just revert back to PCIE GEN2 and I've never gotten the TDR since.
Just registered to say that 353.30 gives you at least ~3 FPS less per average in The Witcher 3 in comparison to 353.06 if you are using a Kepler card. It seems they reverted the Kepler optimizations from 353.06 again.
Driver looks stable enough. No black screens or chrome problems with MSI afterburner+RTSS running in the background.Didn't test any games yet.
btw all links to the wrong driver, 353.30 , topic said 353.38 (on guru3d homepage) - this forum is correct
