AMD Catalyst 15.15 (Official Radeon 300 Launch Driver)

We're gonna have to wait till June 30th for that, I suppose.

 

How about that 15.30 WHQL driver? Any idea when can we expect it to arrive?

How about when they actually make it? lol You as know as of late, AMD is just full of it. Seriously to have this driver posted on a forum when no one can actually use it is sad.

More on the subject:

I did a comparison between versions on this driver, and on the 1040 driver that asder00 posted. It seems that 1040 is newer than this. This is a slightly older build with bugs ironed out as it looks like.

 

Tested dlls from them and they are almost as fast as 1040 in API overhead test.

 

Quick all cards mod Win7/8.1/10 !NOT SIGNED! disable driver signature enforcement or enable test mode.

you might need to add DXVA DLL fix to that DLL repository,

because 1040 DXVA is broken for some.

and the DLL that asder provided didn't fix the broken 64 bit DXVA.

i fixed mine, by taking DXVA DLL from 15.5

Can you tell me exactly which files you took?

The Nano looks like smaller Fiji with similar performance/cores to the 290x. If they price it around $400 it is going to sell like crazy.

Why again no vsr on moded driver inf ?? what is changed versus official.

 

This driver supports at least all the GCN products AMD has made. The R7 3xx series is GCN 1.0.

 

290x's performance more than enough for me - at 4k, 30-40 fps with xbox gamepad feels absolutely fine and w/o input lag

 

Well maybe but at least not official, tried on my rig, didn't recognize the gpu. And as listed on the r9 300 series, the tahiti gpu seems to be dropped actually unless i am missing something.

Btw don't be mad at me when i try to go with the flow of the angry customers. Nothing but love bro. lol

but they need to be replaced directly on system32,

i tried placing it on the video player exe folder, and the DXVA is fixed, but the videos are weird.

but by placing it on System32, it ran perfect.

had to shutdown CCC from task manager, before being able to place it into System32.

@asder, why do you need to sign those? Simple INF mod is not enough?

 

I guess no point in getting these when I use june 8th drivers.
