It's Bethesda and thus ID5, had it been EA it might have used CryEngine or Frostbite EDIT: So it might be fake then? Interesting.
God I hope they can sharpen the textures compared to what ID did. It should allow for more detail but I question the physics and lighting/shadows. They just looked fake as hell in Rage...good still but fake as in not very dynamic or realtime and the engine is more purposed for last gen consoles.

Harvey Smith is the only link to any possible Dishonoured mention this year, the audio it self doesn't mention Dishonoured at all, it does however have them say 'we are honoured' but that's it.
So...is it made by the same people? i thought arkane studio was going to do other things? Aren't they working on Prey 2?
Even if they build on top of the old engine, it will still be a hell of a game. Loved every second of the first game Can't wait !!!
They said in 2013 that there next game would be using Cryengine. They haven't released a game since Dishonoured so I would presume that's the game they were referring too.
It will probably just be the same as the PC version but at 1080p/60fps. The PC version should still be superior with mods, 60+ fps and higher resolutions.
Arkane had stated in the past they were using CryEngine for their next title. I'm excited for a new DisHonored. But, far more interested in seeing the actual game.
