So I was thinking about getting a 750 TI as a dedicated PhysX card because of all the crazy stuff they'll be doing in Arkham Knight. Will this make much of a difference or is it a waste of money?

You shouldn't need one with a 980Ti to be honest that card should already be powerful enough.

I'd say waste of money, that 980ti should have enough juice if you game under 4k res to handle physx as well.

I guess I could test that if you want... I have a 980 Ti & a 750 Ti in another system.

Give me a few and I'll run it through the benchmark for Batman: Arkham Origins.

I wonder how it'll help with a more graphically intensive game like Arkham Knight. 26 fps on the top end could be helpful if the game is as intensive as some more recent games like Witcher 3 and GTA V, especially considering the volumetric fog stuff AK is doing. Do you plan on getting that? Would be awesome if you could post some benchmarks of that if you do.

Edit: Actually you probably got that free with your card like I did.

I am going EVGA 980ti ACX 2.0+ as soon as stock levels improve I will be using my EVGA 750ti FTW as a dedicated PhysX card I don't mind how small the improvement is as long as it does improve FPS I will use it.

I did some benchmarks with Titan X and 970 GTX sometime ago may be of some interest.
    I have 1920 x 1080 144Hz screen ,hence the 1920 x 1080 Physx benchmarks.

Just to clarify it is extremely hard to get every kill/blowing up stuff ETC with 5 minute frap runs in game exactly the same each time for Titan X and Titan X + 970 GTX .YMMV.

Neither setup was able to run AC4Blackflag/Metro 2033 Redux/Metro Last Light Redux without 100% stutter free.

May be of interest to some.
