is there going to be working windows 10 drivers for cards older then 600 series?

and seems current windows 8.1 drivers dont work correctly on windows 10.

which is going to be a problem seeing we have 3 computers in the house that have older gpus and the users want to run windows 10 on there system.

Nvidia has promised Windows 10 and DX12 support for the 400 series and upwards, except for the cards that are rebranded Tesla GPUs.

Support will probably be there at Win10's release

I'm using the last working driver for my GTS250 (341?) for Windows 8 on my Windows 10 install and it's working fine.

I was wondering the same thing as we still don't have a beta W10 driver for 5XX and lower series and W10 is like 2-3 weeks away from being RTM

The latest drivers that work under Windows 10 are 350.12.

    Hope this helps. :)

How did you get it to work? i've tried modding it, after installing the driver still failed to work.

I'll try yours and see if it works for me, cheers! :)

EDIT: Your modded .inf doesn't work for me, won't even install.

Seems to work fine for others, also one of my friends uses it all the time, he has less crashes than me on my gtx 770 lol. (He actually had zero crashes so far on his GTX 570 win10 x64 build 10130).

You must disable driver signaturing in order to install them.

I fixed it, you didn't included one HW ID of the GTX 580, i've added it and it works now.

    My GTX 580 Hardware ID:

    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1080

580 is Fermi and it will receive full WDDM 2.0 drivers support.

230 and 9700 are running Tesla GPUs and these won't have WDDM 2.0 drivers. But it's quite likely that NV will provide WDDM 1.x Win10 drivers for them.

Sadly this driver doesn't give DX12 support for 500 series.

My results with DX11 Api Overhead: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/7252251?

Well, thanks for the result anyway. Your cpu perform almost the same as my X6. Can you do the same bench once we got fermi dx 12 driver support? Wanna compare your result with mine .

Do you know if it works for newer drivers?

I thought i tried it before, it did install but it didn't work.

Not that it matters anyway, my 680 arrives tomorrow.

Newer drivers, as in upcoming win10 drivers?
I hope so, would be weird if nvidia stops providing support for fermi cards.
(I will inf mod future win10 drivers as some of my friends need them anyways, so we will see)
