Need a volunteer with witcher 3 cfx and pcars to test a driver.

Hey since i don't have cfx or pcars i can't test if my driver performs correctly, so i need someone to try it for me.

Performance on those games should be on par with the 15.5 beta/1036 win 10 driver, so tell me how these 2 games perform for you with this.
If everything works ok i will make a new thread for this driver and explain about it.

It would be good to have atleast 1 person with win 8.1 and another with win 10 to test both witcher 3 cfx and pcars.
To be sure make a system restore point before installing (might be not needed since this driver works correctly for me, but just in case)

Obviously you need to have test mode enabled or signature enforcement disabled for this driver to install and work.

I will be happy to test for you as I have crossfire but if you can guide me how to test properly then I will do what I need to do. Can you please explain to me what driver version this is and what has changed?

BTW I have windows 8.1 and not windows 10

 

Some more info about this driver for you guys:
The driver is based on the win 10 1036 driver.
I swapped some components to get the best performance possible, drawcalls, mantle, latest profiles for games and so on.
4k vsr is unlocked for 290(x) cards, don't know about the rest of cards.
I need to know if cfx works with witcher 3, also how pcars perform it should have the same performance of 15.5beta/1036 driver if everthing works correctly.

just test and report back. Your pc is almost the same as mine only thing is you running 3770k vs 4790k, and 7950cfx vs r9 280x cfx everything else is about the same.

 

Took the most perfoming components from various version of drivers and put them in this driver.

What i'm trying to accomplish is: best drawcall & mantle performance while retaining the latest game & cfx profiles.
One more thing: 4k vsr works with 290(x).

I'm gonna leave for work and come back later hopefully all goes well with this driver.

Yeah our systems are pretty much the same Dice, got win8.1 too.

 

Bluescreened on install. On Windows 10 10130 Not sure if it's my build as it's due for a clean install, but have had no other issues with your other drivers asder.

This is interesting (4K VSR) as you know it doesn't work in CFX.

I have W10 and W8.1 special installations only for test in test mode apart from my main w8.1 install.

 

So far I have overhead test now.

Can you tell which version of the dlls you have used?

 

Have patience (and "faith"?) let us melt some CFX setups before the full explanation as asder00 said.

It's actually quite funny to test new driver builds. I even had to reflash my videocard today to get it running again. Yet I'm drooling over new driver build to try

I'm installing Project CARS and The Witcher 3 in W10 10130 with asder00 1036 modded version as a base for comparation.

What are the tests you want to be performed in 1036/unnamed project apart the obvious DX11 API overhead?

There are in-game benchmarks or stand alone ones for this specific games?
