AMD Catalyst 15.x Win Mod (15.200.1036 May 22) with VSR unlocked

These are the Win 10 drivers modded to support Windows versions from Vista to 10. VSR support is included (thanks asder00 ).

The HDMI audio driver was also modded to work from Vista to 10.

asder00 also did an alternative mod for these drivers, at http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=399538

Install steps:
1. Clean previous drivers with DDU
2. On Windows 8+, Admin command prompt: bcdedit /set onetimeadvancedoptions on; On Windows 7 and earlier, press F8 at boot to get the same menu (at the next step), before windows starts loading.
3. Reboot and at the boot menu choose Disable driver signature enforcement, which is option 7) on Win8+
4. Unpack and install the driver normally by running Setup.exe
5. Done!

VSR can be enabled under My Digital Flat Panels > Properties

Report back any problems.

 

Attempt 1 in W10:

Using 1036 VBS modded installer after blocking WU updates for devices, unninstalling of previous 1023.3 offcial, DDU from safe, reboot and install:

No, i didn't think i need it to install W10 drivers on W10.

I will try again in test mode like i do in W8.1.

 

I'm telling you because I got forgetful when I first tried to install the asder00 modded drivers and got exactly the same outcome

Tried again to install via .inf right click "...install" enabling test mode (Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF) via CMD with admin rights:

That's actually bcdedit /set testsigning on, not off!

If you just type bcdedit, it will show under Windows Boot Loader:

WTH Was i thinking about!

Waht is strange (at least for me) is the hash "error", i never saw one like this before and i installed (and falied to install...) a LOT of drivers/modded drivers.

I can't install them right now i'm working on my night shift.

 

I have the same problem with these as other previous w10 modded drivers, evil within refuses to boot up. GTA framerate seems to be the same.. witcher 3 seems to be slightly better for me in the same area on the 15.5 beta release

thanks for modding these to work though. it is cool to test them out.. prior to 15.5 i was getting better results with 1023, so thanks for doing this!

 

Try the OpenGL DLL from the 14.12 and or the 14.8 drivers.

Attemp 4:Test mode enabled and all cleaning made now i get bluescreen error: INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR (without error code).

I tried twice, could be a W10 bug.

I will try to install asder00 version just in case and report result.

Edit:Attemp 3: I get a DXGLRNL.SYS bluescreen (twice) after trying to do a dirt install over the Attempt 2 leftovers

I've just installed asder00 1036 modded drivers without any problem in the same W10 10130 system.

There must be something in your version preventing the proper install here.

If you have a different version of your modded drivers i will try them.

Maybe they only "love" me on W8.1, i had no problem there.

 

Overdrive isn't in CCC Windows 8.1

The fantafabulous "Tiger Team" could do something productive like cleaning the crap out of the drivers like Overdrive "feature" and add some REAL usefull features like RadeonPro ones.

 

The amazing "Tiger Team" added the frame limiter that gives me costant 70ms frametime when capped to 60FPS. I don't trust them with drivers so much!
