I am seriously wondering if upgrading to 390x is a smart move.
At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter how powerful your card is if it's not supported by game developers.

So is 10% improvement for single GPU what you get from this driver in the best case?

Crossfire scaling is fantastic as usual. Can hit 50FPS average at 4k now.
    HOWEVER.
Frame times are a complete mess. It bounces around from 9ms to 37ms(!!!!) constantly, and is utterly unplayable.

    Back to a single 290x and 1440p I guess.

9ms frametime with average of 50FPS? You can't be seeing 9ms very much :) 30ms is normal for around 30/40FPS.

If it's average and have a fps variance from 4 to 120 it's possible....:(

Is posible that the root cause is something like in GTA V? some advanced settings, AA?

How is the GPU usage for you?

With this usage how is the scaling over single GPU?

    70-75% with same graphic settings?
