I don't even remember the last physical game I bought. Maybe Starcraft 2.

I mean, do you guys still get xp points from any quest/contract you do?

All with the latest 1.04 patch.

 

I had to take a week leave from my job to finish this game. Didn't go outside at all, played 16hrs daily. Oh God this game is evil.

And as ps4 started act like a slide show I want to continue on pc, it will take ages to retrieve my progress

 

I'm 95% digital, sometimes a nice box or case is released or if I want to collect a series like TW, got the special edition TW2 box and now the special edition TW3 box. No way I'd install the game using DVDs though so I'm happy there was a GoG code inside. Downloading everything is the future.

Dunno maybe its just my personal experience with this. I've not bought a physical copy since 2004 and HL2, and that was a game that added steam in order to play so the physical copy was a complete waste, we all know how that steam thing went after that don't we :infinity:
Oh that physical copy was ordered online btw, don't think i've gone to a shop, me physically, for a video game since my last N64 game. Not even sure which game that was.

 

Some guy told me he completed the game in 15 hours!

Dunno, maybe it's possible, I honestly can't say but that would be a waste, just rushing through the main story on the easiest difficulty, most likely.

68 hours for me so far and I'm still in Novigrad, yeah. But I've had a really good journey, bar a few tedious quests (Dandelion).

 

what bit are you up to i might be able to give you a saved game?

 

56 hours in and I'm only level 13 and just reached Novigrad. The game is brilliant. Just wish I could run it max settings with good fps. I'm saving for the 980Ti but it's becoming more tempting just to get a 970 gaming.

On another topic. With how good CDProject have been at doing dark gritty fantasy with the Witcher series. I would like to see them do a Berserk or Game of Thrones RPG.

 

Its Quite possible if he used a trainer and just face rolled through the game. I hit 13 hours last night when I got to the bloody baron quest line.

 

Careful of ALT+TABBING out the game it breaks SLI.

Sometimes the game will revert to Borderless Window Mode and this renders SLI useless.

I have noticed though that with 1.04 patch it doesn't revert back to Borderlesss Windowed Mode any more when ALT+TABBING but for some reason for me it breaks SLI and my 2nd 970 simply get around 0-3% usage as stays at 1114MHz base clock instead of 1329MHz which is my 2 cards highest boost clock speed where they both normally stay.

Best thing to do is run the game and DONT MINIMIZE IT AT ALL.

I get around 80-120fps in this game with SLI 970's with everything maxed out. I have never seen it drop below 80fps yet even in highly dense forest areas during combat. The game is smooth as silk and I am getting a GSYNC monitor on friday so I can't wait to get rid of the tearing as well

How the hell did he manage that then?

I'm at 12% complete with 22 hours level 9 and part way through "Ladies of the Wood" quest. There's so much I've not yet done just in my current quest list it's utterly insane. How anyone can "complete" it in under 20 hours is beyond me.

 

Yeah. I find that hard to believe too.

Thanks for your reply.. just good to have the confirmation that I'm underperforming. 80FPS minimum sounds much more like it.

I do monitor my GPU usage and its definitely pushing both cards to 95-99%, so SLI does appear to be working.

Guess I may wanna try reinstalling my drivers and do more testing. Thanks again!
