Just got my titan x yesterday. Found a good deal on a very slightly used one for $875. The full cover EK block arrived today (crazy fast shipping from Slovenia!) and installed without a problem. Card overclocks great and runs cool under water. I have been using SLI setups for about 5 years now, went from 2 gtx580's to a gtx690. I am happy to be back to a single GPU. settled on +250 core +500 memory for the moment, not too shabby. I have seen it boost up to around 1470 or so.
There are a few on Overclock.net http://www.overclock.net/t/1546747/official-nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-x-owners-club Im using the Cyclops 1.31v
ok, I installed the SC 425 bios. better headroom now. what voltage are you using for 24/7 use? and what are your temps like at that voltage?
I'm using the 1.31v at 1590 mhz 24/7. Temps depending on load go no higher than 55 degrees. All fans at 500rpm for ultra silence.
Hi all, Just installed my Titan X's yesterday, but when gaming I'm noticing what looks like FPS drops but the FPS counter remains the same...? I thought it might be micro stutter so I removed one card, but am still seeing it whichever card I use. This is when playing Evil Within if that's the problem? Using driver 352.86. Thanks
Try the 347.88 set. It's the only driver that I have no isuues with. None at all. 350.12 won't even install properly and the 352.86 cause all kinds of stuttering etc. and ran my cards a bit hotter.
You could install the latest driver tweak the witcher 3 profile and then export it/save it. Install 347.88 and then re-add all game profiles including Witcher and it should be good. Thats what i do, ive been on 347.88 since it came out and i dont intend to move from it yet as its a great driver for me.
Great, I'll do that. Cheers lads. I have Gigabyte Titan X's - what's the best way to overclock them?? Using stock cooler...
Yeap, no need to overclock 2 of these at all. Running 2 Titan X's here with EVGA AIO coolers installed on them. Cards boost to 1290MHz and stay there, 50C max temps.
Would have gone custom water but I take my PC to LAN parties occasionally. Not the best idea to throw a custom water cooled rig in the car
These days, AIO coolers and liquid video coolers are as secure as any other piece of hardware in your rig. I have the H220X AIO cooler and I've moved my rig around quite a bit with NO problems whatever.
Did you try hotfix 350.05 too? They are from r349 branch, 350.12 is r350, 353.00 is also a little newer and stable - no browser issues yet after 2days.. I didn't play a lot but overall it ran fine there. 352.86 was "ok" too, except for occasional jitter - it looked like micro stutter. I play The evil within and I can confirm some drivers have more jitter then others, 350.05 was ok I think, didn't try 353.00 yet. Btw 347.71 is even better, the smoothest r347 branch driver so far was 347.26icafe and it had the least tearing with vsync off.. Some say quadro 348.08 is good too I didnt try them yet, mostly stayed at 350.05.
