well no...quicksave just use 1 slot only and always overwrite with the latest quicksave.

 

Ok maybe it is different for this game, i used quicksaves in half-life, fc 2, crysis, etc. Ill try and see how the game plays with a m/k, but it's been awhile since alot of games feel smoother with a controller, crysis 3, fc3, fc4, etc. Thanx though for the headsup.

 

witcher 3 is quite flexi since u can used both controller and m/k simultaneously...unlike witcher 2(still can using quicksave tho)...im playing using controller and just using keyboard for quicksave.

 

TW1 and TW2 should work better with M/K because they are RPG AND PC games.

Maybe the TW3 been a console game ported to PC, UI and control via gamepad are changed to perform well on consoles.

IDK i will not play this game untill a proper crossfire profile is added to drivers, maybe never.

 

Hi and no main purpose for me of moving to PC was race sim and I chose Project Cars, then had to buy the 970 to make it work So as soon as I got the disappointing results I swapped back to the 970, didn't even bother trying the rift at that performance drop.

It feels like it helped with Witcher 3. Pushing 40fps with 280X Ultra/AA/HW off. I'll call that playable and i'm happy with the performance. Cant expect more from a 3 year old card.

the problem is not the fps , is the framedrops , i install the new drivers an tested witcher 3 , in the same area i dont see a single fps of diference :bang: .

 

So, "new" drivers from an undisclosed source, no change log, no noticeable change?

I guess we better wait for something a little bit more official ...

Have you tried with the 1023 drivers? I get better than that for most situations in the game with them.

 

Yes, but he is not working for AMD, and for all I know he could've been the victim of a hoax himself.

Finally I can hold a stable 60 on pcars, on the lowest settings of course. Thats a plus! No change in Witcher 3's performance though..

 

If these are the actual release drivers for this week, then these are by far the most disappointing drivers I've installed yet. I was waiting (well at least hoping it was the drivers) on the missing 30/40% performance loss to be fixed on Project Cars and i gained about 0.5fps (well within the margin of error).

They basically changed nothing for me in anything (for me TW3 is just fine as is), i hope this is just a mistake and a real driver is coming (or a mysterious patch for the game releases unlocking the full potential of the drivers ).

 

It fixed the MSAA corruption in Tahiti GPUs in GTA5.
