You realise the latest version we have access to is in a VERY unfinished state right? Of course you're gonna have a worse experience than a stable RTM OS And it's already well known that Spartan (EDGE) will be getting addon support at a later date Sounds like you expect a pre-release OS to be perfect
In your opinion people should not comment critically if something doesnt works on a Beta? To spartan, if something is schit right now you can say in future it could taste like snickers or mars, but right now it have a schit taste. I m not sure if they give spartan an addon Interface, because on Windows 8 they said it will be the last OS, one for all Devices and in future you pay only for Features. They even would give Windows 8 Cortana, i just see they dont Keep everything what they said. Why it will be different on Windows 10?
Be as critical as you like, I hate Win 10, but complaining that things don't work is pointless, of course they don't work, it's pre-release If everything worked, it would be RTM
lol complain about spartan? I haven't even tried it since chrome works perfect...And not to many reasons to use Cortana either, at least not on a pc...if i were trying it on a mobile phone it be different. Couple of miner bugs....but nothing serious...all my games performance is same or better
I am thinking of installing the Windows 10 pre-release. Is this release stable enough to function as a primary OS for gaming? I have a G25 steering wheel. Is it possible to install the Windows 8 driver for my steering wheel on Windows 10?
How can i block windows from installing this driver?? DDU disable automatic driver install but windows keep downloading it, can't play GTA V with this... Thanks.
Same thing happned to me after going thru trouble of installing last vsr modded driver. Now that you ask i don't see a way:bang:
I think DDU just stops Windows from installing the standard default driver again, not actually installing drivers from WU, but could be wrong
So, I've noticed, that sometimes Windows decides its okay to send information to Microsoft. My internet I'm using on the move is based on EVDO Revision 0. 176kb/s upload speed but 2.4mb/s down. So whenever anything is uploaded, my whole connection chokes and download speeds suffer. So far I just deleted executables and services which were sending data which eventually broke windows, and I was no longer able to connect to the internet lol. Is there a 'sane' or 'right' way of doing this?
I clean installed build 10074 and now windows update is unable to find any AMD drivers. WTH? Even did clean install twice to make sure it is not one off thing, but no. In the end I had to install 15.4.1 from AMD. If anyone knows of a way to get latest drivers from windows update let me know.
True, but for AMD, directx12 supported drivers are only coming through windows updates unlike Nvidia, at least for now. In previous windows 10 builds, windows would find and automatically install those drivers, but this is not happening with build 10074 so just wondering what happened.
Under normal conditions I agree, but for the Win 10 preview, WU seems like the best source. At least for those of us using AMD.
