Okay, I'll give it a go.

Okay, I'll enable that. What i will say though is there was no noticeable stutter at all while playing, regardless of what it shows. Why it gets introduced and magnified when recording I've no idea.

It might be YouTube or the encoder, I don't know. Your frametime should be very low to get 100+ FPS. If we see it jump to 50ms or so, that's the gameplay stuttering. I have come accustomed to it.

Looking forward for a video with much higher settings :)

I have another video uploading. Vsync on this time, close to maximum settings. I couldn't run higher because i was close to exceeding the video memory limit. It was with X4 MSAA and mostly Very high/Ultra settings though. Will post here when it's ready. :)

I don't know if these post will be usefull or not but i must thanks AMDMatt for been here and discuss this matter with us. :)

It's not easy to deal with not very "happy" customers.

Looking into gta v benchmark reviews the 290x or 7990 dont have problem with gpu utilization in crosfire. I would be happy if u try out 2x 280x (similar power to gtx 980) and see that each gpu get like 50% when FPS ingame is about 40-50.

Currently i need forcing MSAA 8x to get gpu utilization to 70-99% and game is playable, but sometimes i get fps drop to 40 with 66-70% load on each gpu.

    Tell that to sammarbella.

By the way. The 7990 is 2 7970's which are 280x's.

    Here is the video guys.

I included the frame time as well. I find with Vsync off at these settings it was not perfectly smooth, i suspect because i was very close to the video memory limit and near the limit of what a stock 7990 can handle. Enabling vsync removed all stutter, though. :)

Yea, but they are on 1 PCB and have some kind of controller on the board.
280 and 270 series need crossfire bridge, 290 and dual gpu on 1 pcb dont need this :)

    Crossfire bridge?

Is not this obsolete for 270-280?

In my crossfire of 290x i don't need this.

The rebranded GPU's still need them (280/x etc).

AMDMatt video is near perfect in crossfire GPU usage and performance.

My own experience is NOWHERE NEAR.

What is needed to record a video of GTA V gameplay from Game Evolved or Steam?

A step by step dumb alike how to please. :D

Edit: I found it "CTRL"+"/" in game and set folder and settings on the gear link...

If you record a video, use the same settings as his (no advanced settings) to compare.

I used these settings in the AMD Gaming Evolved APP.

Literally with Vsync on it's perfect. It's the same with the 295x2 i have as well, expect that can handle higher settings.

I can make this thing record my gameplay. :3eyes:

How the hell i start to record?

"CTRL"+"/" doesn't seems to work here.

Record settings and folder are setup anf game is launched from Evolve App.

Edit: FINALLY i saved the gameplay recording now it "only" need 920 minutes to finish the upload. :D

Thank you very much for being here and doing this. Any chance we might get some impressions from you from the 1023 driver? I would be curious to see how it performs on your system with the 7990. :)
