Grand Theft Auto 5 Thread Pt. 3

I have tried to rob Ponsonbys in Vinewood but it just doesnt work, I shoot the register and all I get is cops after me. Is it possible to rob any of these stores marked on the map in singleplayer?

 

It is a good game, dialogs are funny, all characters are unique in their way, there is NO WAY u not gonna like Trevor, he is the best.

Missions are fun too and the city itself looks amazing awesome at thunderstorms and at certain sun effects, overall this is the only GTA i can play.

 

The luxury clothes stores dont have money to rob imo.

Btw: if you want to rob without any police alert drive into a store with a bike or motorbike. Store clerk will freak out in terror while you just shoot the registers with a silencer.

 

I have been playing since the first mods came out and no ban here. I play single player and stay offline.

Those shots look pretty good to me. Ever been to LA?

 

Doesnt to me... Hurts my eyes looking at it... if i wanted my games to look like that, id just turn contrast to 100% on my screen.

 

The game is very character based and all the better for it, although it does get confusing sometimes trying to trigger the important missions. My advice is to just burn through the main story first and then have fun with everything else afterwards.

Tbh the effect is quite subtle in this game, unlike in lords of the fallen for instance... and imo it looks better with this subtle effect

"mostly positive reviews" according to steam, metacritic (2nd review area for steam) is 7.9 user reviews which is pretty good in these days, so not sure how you came to that conclusion, unless you came to that conclusion because there ARE negative reviews? in which case i guess you'll never buy anything?

I mean, the 11 first helpful reviews are positive, the first helpful negative review is "BOOO! FIX THE GAME OR LET US DO IT OURSELVES!", 'cause that's...useful... and reading most of the rest of the negative reviews have pointless negatives on them, either essentially "the game doesn't work", which sucks but isn't the norm, or people claiming to use a mod in single player and likely were playing the mod in multiplayer, got banned, got enraged, and went to review it to make sure everyone knew they got banned for using it in single player, which they didn't...

 

Pop in, saw it when someone modded gta 5 ps3 to do the same, AI doesn't realise it's underwater until after then stats floating up. AI has a longer distance than physics is seems.

 

The AI operates on rails until the player gets close enough. This is mostly for the flight side of the game, so that when you're flying you get realistic traffic without a performance hit.

 

I tried it twice and each time I went to load the game the Rockstar Launcher downloaded a few megabytes of files. In-game I can't tell the difference. Anyone else tried it?

 

Someone needs to make a free willy mod. Riding around on a killer whale would be awesome.
