r9 270x no directx12 win 10

Hi there

So i installed windows 10 tech preview with all latest updates. Now I'm trying to do 3dmark api overhead test but it's telling me directx 12 not supported. So I don't know why directx12 is not working

 

The latest Windows 10 drivers seem to lack DirectX 12 support.

 

That's stupid. Hope they fix that soon. I installed Win 10 preview just for directx 12.

anyway here's my results

DX11 ST = 707 447
DX11 MT = 684 154
Mantle = 10 118 880

 

Draw calls seem the same, these drivers are better for gaming in general as far as I've tested and understood, and even better for Project CARS.

 

[post=5067459]Build 10.0.10074 broke Direct3D 12 on most recent Catalyst WDDM 2.0 driver[/post]. Have to wait for AMD releasing a new driver on Windows Update, since they don't offer direct downloads yet.

 

New Catalyst driver 15.200.1023 from 28.04.2015 is available from Windows Update. Restored Direct3D 12 for me.
