I wonder if the lack of VSR is due to these modded drivers calling my R7 265 a "HD 7800 Series?"

Never used CRU... Might take a risky chance and try it, thanks.

Testing this driver removes some vsr options for me making max 16:9 2560x1440. Shame as I have a 2nd 290X on it's way to me and wanted to run GTA V higher res. One card is enough for 1440p with no msaa but I hate jaggies.

Indeed I understand, well the difference is not THAT major I mean, you could still do the 15.4bs and not lose that much.. Up to you.

Driver working good for you though? Damnit if only GTA V didn't have the MSAA bug right now .. f*ck sake. :D You could crank some 4/8xAA right there. :D

Is there a way to permanently disable "driver signature enforcement" in Win 7 64-Bit? I've tried few things, but none of them worked. I've also read that it can not be disabled permanently in Win 7 64-Bit, but don't know if it's true. If there is a way, please help me with this. Thanks in advance.

AFIK if you use dseo13b.exe to sign the 2 drivers files once installed there is no need to permanently disable " driver signature enforcement".

Enable test mode (In admin CMD "bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON" and reboot), install modded drivers and on reboot go to device manager and check if the display adapter is working properly if not you only need to sign the 2 files and reboot.

Look at the Third point in this post:

    http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=5038856#post5038856

The 2 files to sign are show in the second pic.

Ive followed this to the T and this is what i get on Win 7 x64...[IMG]

Disabled driver signature and still nothing. It seems the INF contains nothing for my 280x. Why?

Browse for the location not "Let me pick from a list of device drivers..."

    Right ok. So ive:

    Cleaned with DDU
Rebooted and pressed F8 - Then seelct Disable DRIVER Signature option (Im on Win 7 & and that command in the OP doesnt work)

    AND..

Nope. What am i doing wrong? Ive extracted vbs' Rar to that AMD 15.200.1018.1 folder and NOT used "Let me pick from a list " but it still doesn't see anything.

Are you browsing for the drivers yourself or letting Windows try do it?

Im letting Windows do it. But VBS' post indicated we should be selecting the .INF which means we're looking for it ourselves. Ive tried both ways still get nothing..

You don't let Windows do it, you do it yourself.

Go to Device Manager. Double click the device. Click the driver tab and then Update Driver... Here, press Browse my computer... Browse for the directory and click next.

I get the same result as above. Still says my adapter is up to date. Is it possibly because of the driver signtaure setting. Maybe it isn't being disabled?

    Maybe. Run DDU again.
