i did and even with 2xmsaa glitch is visible :S Maybe it's because of 16x10 aspect ratio, can anyone report if they have that graphical glitch with same ratio?
You do realize that gamers requested early access from Codemasters so that they could help shape the game. Codemasters is actually listening to what their fans want in a rally game. Funny to see how many people jump on the negativity bandwagon without even playing it.
When the game is down downloading on steam, I can try it. My second rig has a 1440x900 16:10 monitor. I also have a 1680x1050 16:10 on the rig next to it that my gfs son plays on.
Well, either my game didn't get the optimization, or there's something wrong on my end. Still have to play on Low/Ultra Low to get a stable 60fps. On the plus side the co-driver actually speaks now.
Idk, gtx680 should be able to play it just fine. Playing Ultra-low to keep stable fps seems something is definitely wrong. Game does favor AMD cards though :
BWhahahahaha! Looking forward to a rally centered game again! hope the gfx improve though, looks horrendous! RE: Benchmarks, looks like the effort is gone into draw distance rather than near draw quality, I suppose if your driving fast it won't matter about the near quality?
You should judge gfx from other screenshots and gameplays, because i'm surely not running this game with maxed settings on my crappy pc.
In its current state 17 cars are available, does anyone know how many there will be in the final build ?
So I caved since I haven't seen a real bad review yet and this game seemed more finished than alpha (and it's on sale for $31) Bro d00d rating - 0/10: No corny voice overs.. No characters.. Just rally racing and simple straight forward menus I think it's fine.. The car handling is some of the best I've seen in a DiRT series in ages.. If you drive this like a typical DiRT game.. You will suck at it.. I'm totally going to have to relearn how to drive again which is a pleasant change..
Looking forward to buying this when the Rift support is better - been wanting a proper VR rally game for the longest time
Re-Ran my benchmarks.. It's strange your 780 is nearly identical to my 980.. With the same exact settings. You got a leg up of 500MHz on the CPU and RAM but that shouldn't sway things at all.
4K resolution (using DSR) 0XAA Ultra Settings. The drop to 56fps was a loading issue when the benchmark changes camera, otherwise it would of been above 60fps all the time.
