    Hi Guru3d,

I have a question about sharing games between PS4's with a friend.
We used to own a PS4 togheter but now I moved out and got my own PS4. While all the games are still on "our" account. I know how to share them to my new PS4 but I also know it's agains the TOS.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'd like to hear what you guys think about transfering the games.

    Greetings,
    Kevin

Oh my bad if it's in the wrong section! Sorry!

Well we used to live togheter in 1 house with 1 PS4. You are not going to make 2 accounts and buy all the games twice..

Too late now, but you never DID have to buy them twice. As long as the owner has set that PS4 as their primary machine, everyone can play all games on it, no matter what user.

As of now, no - there's no way of sharing unless you want to take turns setting your own PS4 as the shared account's primary machine.

That is not completely true. When our shared account is on both PS4's and PS4#1 is set as primary PS4 we can play the games from our shared account on a new account, because any sub account can play the primary account's content. The shared account is on PS4#2, PS4#2 is not set as primary PS4 but we can still play our games there on our shared account because the games are on that account.

So it's still possible but I think it's against the TOS. That is why I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this problem.

I don’t have any experience with this sorry. Captain hindsight here, but you should have been buying physical copies and just split them now.

Haha yeah that is probably better when you split. I'm a fan of digital collections tho. Thanks everyone.
