Does Reshade even work with War Thunder?
Reshade is hard-coded to automatically disable its buggy depth buffer when its being used for an online game so its kind of pointless in that situation anyway.
Furthermore in my own experience, since new Reshade releases seem to break games that might have at least partially worked in previous releases its usability is always up in the air. Oh and don't forget, as far as I know there is still no easy way to toggle SweetFX on/off in game with Reshade. ;)

I would highly recommend that you use the Official release of SweetFX_1.5.1 instead:
    link: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=395072

Or, use the Boulotaur2024 injector for SweetFX as an excellent alternative:
    link: http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4581604&postcount=528

You should have no trouble getting the game to work with those and If you would like to find a preset config for War Thunder or lots of other games then search here:

    To whom it may concern

    Hi,

I wanted to ask if there is any possible way to get the latest version of SweetFX "2.0 Beta 8" to work with RadeonPro?

I like and I am used to controlling all my game settings and preferences through RadeonPro. I am used to the interface and I love it. Directing RadeonPro to the SweetFX folder for 2.0 Beta 8 doesn't work. Copying and editing files into the SweetFX Injector I am using for RadeonPro doesn't work either. If there is a workaround to get this done please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.

SweetFX_2.0 is designed to work exclusively with the Reshade injector, so it will never work with RadeonPro.
If you like using Radeonpro for SweetFX then you can't use Reshade. ;)

However, CeeJay has stated that he intends to release SweetFX_1.6 which will include some improvements and new shaders. :)

That's disappointing. I can't get it to work with Fifa 15, it really needs an improved UI, maybe also with an install and uninstall button. When I applied Reshade to Watchdogs, I had to go to the directory and figure out which folders and files to remove in order to remove it. I'll gladly use reshade if it had a similar UI to RadeonPro SweetFX Section, where I can select games, select which parts if sweet FX want (tick them) and edit their values to my desired levels.

    That's good news.

    EDIT:

Anyway, thanks for the help/advice in return.

    EDIT #2:

Is there a SweetFX Configurator that works with version 2.0+? The official site has version 1.5.1 as the latest version.

Not as far as I know, but you would have to check on the Reshade.me website to find out any information about that. :)

SweetFX_1.5.1 is the most current official version. As far as I know, CeeJay is still busy working with SweetFX2.0+Reshade beta at the moment so he probably won't release SweetFX_1.6 until he is done with that. However, intrepid coders around here seem to have a habit of porting some shaders into the current version so that they can have an early christmas present, lol. Just have to wait and see what happens. ;)

I want to play War Thunder with SweetFX / ReShade but i can't make it working
Game crashes when i start it
    I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 / GTX 970 / latest nVidia driver
If i choice DX9 / OpenGL, it's working but it looks bad
Could be a OS problem ? some software / uncompatible programs / settings , etc ?
I installed DX latest version for Windows 7, visual C ++, NetFramework 4.5, but no go
That's the error log in the .txt file
    IDXGIFactory::CreateSwapChain' failed with 'DXGI_ERROR_INVALID_CALL'!
MSI Afterburner was closed, as well GeForce Experience / Fraps, etc
    Any ideas, guys ?
Please help me. Thanks in advance

What are you hoping to gain by trying to use the SweetFX+Reshade beta in War Thunder instead of SweetFX_1.5.1?
Even if you can actually get it to work in War Thunder it won't be any different than the effects you can already get with SweetFX_1.5.1 or SweetFX_Boulotaur2024.

On the other hand, if you are actually trying to get help with GemFX or MasterEffect instead of SweetFX then you are on the wrong forum.
Besides, the Reshade injector is hard-coded to disable its buggy depth buffer in online games so effects which depend on it won't even work in War Thunder in the first place.

If you want help trying to work out the bugs in Reshade then you need to go on the Reshade forum. :)

This is the SweetFX forum, bud.
If you have support questions regarding Reshade, then go to the Reshade.me forum.

Now, do you have a question about SweetFX or is it actually a question about Reshade? :)

I'm using ReShade 0.17.1 Public Beta with SweetFX 2.0 Beta 8
So, what would you say ?
Is this about SweetFX or ReShade ?

You need to go to the Reshade.me forum to get help with Reshade+SweetFX.
Repeatedly asking your questions here on the wrong forum is a waste of time. :)

@blue_kid, try to run an older version of reshade.
Compatibility list says it runs fine with 0.16, maybe worth the shot.

Try also inject with a diferent name, like d3d11.

    News flash my friend.
Your problem is with the Reshade injector NOT SweetFX.

If you are finished wasting time here, why don't you go to the Reshade.me forum where you can actually get help, mkay?

This is what a Reshade crew member said in this very thread.
Reshade support questions should be asked at Reshade.me.

TLDR=Go to Reshade.me for help with Reshade.

P.S. Double posting is generally frowned upon bud.

The Reshade crew told everybody (including you blue_kid) to go to Reshade.me for help with Reshade.

You obviously seem to be more interested in being contrary than in getting help with Reshade. :)
