Grand Theft Auto 5 Thread Pt. 3

got this weird thing.

might be because Im way past vm usage. at around 8gb

but everything is good.

but for some reason randomly and not often, normally I get around 40-60fps and then suddenly the fps drops to 5fps and sticks there for about 1 minute, and then everything goes back to normal.

I just finished a 3 hour online gaming session. and that problem happened around 4 times.

 

What gives if i enable all of AA , Msaa ON, FXAA ON, TXAA ON. It will be better visuals? Can i just turn on only TXAA, rest off, and i will be have better fps?

 

Anyone know if TB is doing a port report for this game?

 

Some people are low lol, but impressive theft none the less and what a fool.

 

How do you get additional missions? I finished up the one where you chase after the yacht, but when I switched back to the other guy, I don't see anything else available.

 

Not that clever though, good chance if it all works out in the guys favour, that the person who stole the key has his whole account deactivated and loses all his games

 

Buy beer, drag PC and LCD outside, crack open a cold one, fire up GTAV

Not yet, don't have GTAV yet, or a nice garden to play it in, sounded like a nice scenario though lol

 

So does the game feel really optimized for the PC? I remember that GTA4 wasn't, and still isn't optimized for the PC.

 

Anyone else having some graphical corruption in the lower right corner in outside enviroments?
Running the latest AMD driver (Used DDU).
Anyone know a fix?

This game plays really well for me. I have no complaints.

It's a driver bug. Definitely. Maybe something to do with that CHS thing, AMD CHS.

 

ive heard that u can turn down post FX to high or something , give it a shot

Just got the ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT again, so still no luck on this end. I'm going to just wait for a fix.

 

How does this game cope with 1 GB VRAM GPU's?

My hardware parts are all good except the GPU.
It's an AMD HD 6950 and it's the rare 1 GB version...

Would like to hear impressions while running on 1080p with no AA.
Can people run it with continuous +30 FPS on everything Low?
Is everything Medium possible?
Or a mixture?

 

Someone on GTAV PC subreddit said this happens when MSAA is enabled on some AMD configrations. Will test it out.

 

Anyone know how Newegg sells their PC Downloads? They have GTA with a $10 promotional gift card. They email you the serial number apparently. Is that redeemed through Steam?
