use afterburner and in settings enable unnoficial overclocking mode (without power play support and set it as a profile and use just for games

default will still use powerplay and clock down where as the unnocficial mode will stay at desired clocks

funny how no other games have this issue..
    other games run flawless.

and even at stock clocks the issue remains.

Bloody hell, dat Crossfire scaling and 100% gpu usage over four gpus! We've nailed this one.

Every setting maxed out, X8 AA, X8 reflective AA, AMD CMS shadows. Basically, real life.

Oh and 6.75GB video memory usage at 4K!

the problem is though mate the card should not be clocking down
i have the card under full water block custom cooling 63c max temps in the game and still the clocks are dropping and not staying in full 3d clocks.

Impressive. But lower that AA man, 45FPS is depressing! :)

    yes.

can only be a driver issue, with this game and with R9295x2 cards.

Then why call them beta drivers? Why not release them as just 15.4 and when there are WHQL call them for example 15.4 WHQL? Also, if these go through the same testing as WHQL, why not release real beta drivers for people to test and give feedback?

Sorry guys, got a little ahead of myself. But god damn, it looks wow. So nice to see 100% gpu usage across four gpus!

GTA runs suprisingly well on 2x 290s on 5900x1080 here.
Noot easy to say after the last months, but, Good work this time, AMD.
BTW, testet with 15.3 driver before, and, you wouldn´t believe it, there´s a huge difference.

Just deactivate everything on "advanced graphics options" page

    @AMDmatt:
The best possible performance is good enough this time ;)

    one thing i noticed:

At least in gta5 bezel correction doesn´t seem to work, but will give tzhat a closer look.
    .
edit: Nvm., i wasn´t able to set the right resolution.

It takes time and it takes money to release a WHQL driver.

little issue, with bezel correction, pressing esc ends in 1 out of 4 cases in terminating GTA.

If you're using Windows 10 then i you should stick with the driver available Via Windows update, as 15.4 does not support Windows 10. It might install and work ok, but it's not guaranteed.

AMD still is no where near fixing dx11 multi threads ,in fact its still terrible compared to nvidia which has superior optimization in these cases. The only thing AMD can do now is beg Rockstar to implement Mantle in gta5 .But I doubt thats gonna happen because AMD is broke.
BTW AmdMatt you are trying very hard to divert the conversation with your screenshots ,we are not stupid when you show 4k ,8xMSAA with 99% usage on 4 gpus.
Why don't you post screenshots @1080p no MSAAA ultra quality, 2x290x?
You won't show those screenshots because you would be crushed in performance.

First impressions, still downloading GTA V, but FarCry 4 finally works really good with crossfire enabled, and looks gorgeous by the way!

Drivers right on time, lets see if AMD can repeat once The Witcher 3 is out.
