Reg files should add vsr res, they seems to add it even for 14.12 drivers.

If reg files don't work anymore they are changing things.

In the worst scenario a lock of non "official" VSR is possible.

    I hope not.

Without official response about future VSR support everything seems to be possible.

That's what I would like to know.
Beta is appreciated, but throw us a WHQL from time to time, thx.

And no, it's not the same.
If you think that beta and WHQL have equal chances of being good/bad or of bugs popping out, keep it to yourself; you have no idea how testing is done.

    Fingers crossed...

Thanks much for the new driver - many will benefit; however I must ask: Where is the crossfire profile for Elite Dangerous that you mentioned earlier?

Matt slightly off topic, but I didn't want to start a whole thread to ask you a simple question like some other guys have been doing.
But can you give us any inside info on why exactly the last two Total War titles are optimized like ****... Rome 2 Total War, and Attila Total War... I'm sure you guys know the real deal on why that Warscape engine they use is so troublesome, could you shed some light on the issues?

It's a CPU heavy game so graphic cards don't matter much, but last year when Rome 2 was released it too literally months and months for Crossfire/SLI drivers to come out, CA/Sega was blaming Nvidia and AMD, while AMD was saying it's CA/Sega's fault.

Anyway what you got for me bro, spill the beans

The files I tried were CMD files that edit the registry I unblocked them and ran as admin didn't seem to do anything.

At least they don't add another uselless crossfire profile like they did with Dying Light and Mortal combat X CFX profiles:

    .....................................................................................

Highlights of AMD Catalystâ„¢ 15.4 Beta Windows Driver
    New Crossfire Profiles for:
    Grand Theft Auto V
    Dying Light*
    Galactic Civilizations III
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
    Mortal Combat X**
    Sleeping Dogs : Definitive Edition
    .......................................................................................

New CFX profiles use to be added to solve problems but there is the little detail of the small asterisks "*"

Later on the same page the "*" are explained:

    ..................................................................................

*AMD is currently working with Techland to resolve the following issue:
[417173] Distant objects may flicker in Dying Light when AA is enabled in AMD Crossfire mode. As a workaround, users may disable AMD Crossfire mode if this issue is impacting their game experience.
** AMD is currently working with NetherRealm Studios to resolve the following issue:
[417323] Flickering is sometimes observed on a small number of surfaces in Mortal Combat X when using AMD Crossfire. As a work around, users may disable AMD Crossfire mode if this issue is impacting their game experience.
    .....................................................................................

    http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx

The AMD solution for broken CFX profiles is to add new profiles and if you don't see improvment disable CFX profile.

Non existent CFX profiles can't be broken! :D

The D3D driver is the same version as the Lenovo driver. Curiously, the OpenGL version of the driver is lower in these.

VSR doesn't work by the driver itself, but after a clean install of 15.4 beta (using DDU to uninstall the previous driver), running CCC and the Tahiti.cmd, I still get 2560*1440.

I don't know if I'm having a stroke or what, but I swear, single card 280X, my performance in MGS Ground Zeroes with Shadows maxed is MASSIVELY improved with this driver, over the Omega and 15.3's. Previously, I'd have to drop that a tick down to maintain 60 FPS, otherwise it'd have pretty huge dips into the 30's, with this driver, it seems it only dips into the 45-50ish range, and mostly stays at 60.

D3D and Mantle are same as 14.12
    http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4973900&postcount=1

15.3 switched from my natural 1920x1080 to 3200x1800 during installation, like out of the blue
15.4 asked me if I wanted to switch from my "low" 1920* to 3200*

    progress...
