The thing is their really is a brilliant game beneath all the online technical issues.

I finally just finished the All In Order Heists challenge, teamed up with 3 guys I knew nothing about but where all part of my Scotland Clan to do the final Heist mission on Hard and it was epic, nerve wrecking, funny and enjoyable. Being chased by the cops trying to make the last section in a beat up car with two tyres, not wanting to let my heist mates down and my god it was everything a game should be and when it was all done the relief followed by the comic voice over by one of my heist mates as Lester talked.

The game has so so so many faults but when it does get things right, boy does it get them right!

DX12 support after 5-6 months is possible, but it won't delay the whole game. They can simply patch the game when its ready.

The real reason for the delay should most definitely be the Online Heists for consoles. They just needed couple of weeks to have most of their team working on fixing issues that came with the release - connection problems, etc. Now when Online Heists is mostly stablilized for consoles ( i hope so) they can concentrate their main team for PC release, because there will be problems to fix thats for damn sure, no matter how many time they spent. Specially in online part of the game.

I wish I could find online teams to co-operate like that. Maybe on PS4 it's easier but for PC I very rarely play MP anymore just because everyone likes to go lone wolf or no one communicates over VOIP at all.
I had better hopes for Payday Online but the heists didn't turn out to be much fun for me. Everyone just kinda ran around providing little assistance, no backup and no communication for cooperation. Once in a while someone would shoot for me while I messed with the drill or something but I wish more PC gamers would buy a damn headset with a mic so we can freaking get some communication going.

I did roll my eyes when i first clicked on that, as these downgrade videos usually end up stupid.

This though, is uses the same location and tod and it's hard to to miss, and the lack of POM makes it look much worse, the AF issue is something i don't get.
AF is (at least on the PC) pretty much free when it comes to performance.

I do remember Crysis having issue with AF if POM was enabled, but this seems to have disabled both.

I usually don't like comparison videos either.
But, i have to agree, this one is really well made.

Why the f... did Rockstar butchered the game so much? :bang:

    Is this sarcastic joke..or what?
Because I think that Fallout 4 will be released about June.

About that video, surely I too gonna love this game on PC, however at that video Prlx Occl seems like blurry(mostly not even at 1024px) 2d photos used for textures and it's heightmap sucks a bit..

And last, about dx12 future support,do you really think that would be easy for -any- devs to just make patches from dx11 to dx12 support ? I guess that if a game won't be developed ON dx12 it will be very difficult to see a dx12 patch, ofc I wish that I am so wrong about this.

Eh, I have the PS4 version of the game. The PS4, the most powerful *console*, was getting framedrops down to the late teens. 15-17fps. They downgraded it because it simply couldn't cut the proverbial mustard. Now it drops to 25fps at the most, but it's a console game, so I guess it's acceptable.

Looks like consoles couldn't keep stable framers test with parallax occlusion.
This is one more reason to wait for April 14th proper version :) POM + 16xAF + AA + HBAO + 60FPS :)

It was a bug, Rockstar are working on it. Nothing intentional.
