Can you please stop saying this in every thread. It's very hard to understand you. VGA isn't supported.

    Why wouldn't it be supported?

Maybe another real or "hardware" limitation , i mean fake limitation.

Who knows what is real and what is fake when a simply registry change is able to add "hardware" VSR?

Maybe what was in the past disabled (for downsampling) has just been enabled again. I can enable more resolutions using CRU without this registry edit and downsampling works fine using the latest beta.

Maybe you are right but this post links to a pic with a monitor ACER V233H connected via (analog) showing 2560x1440 res (VSR).

For me this (analog) means VGA connection.

This monitor has VGA (analog) and DVI (digital) connections.

Acer V233H native res is 1920x1080.

heh, if you took 1,000 peoples' disdain for advertising and combined it, it would be nothing compared to mine. Serious. I just wanted to give a heads up on a great deal.

There isn't a limitation, it was disabled. Regedit enables it.... the inf prob adds Tahiti support. I guess.

I haven't looked, not even interested tbh.

They all use the same architecture which is probably why. 280 is the same as a 7970 and a 7770 is the same as a R7 250 I believe.

That's what i mean by "hardware" limitation.

Same as "hardware" scaler who appears from thin air due to reg codes.

I was trying to be sarcastic. :)

do we need dual link DVI or it could be single link for VSR to work?

    Thanks for clarify.

It's very strange that it shows analog using DVI. :3eyes:

    It's just the name.
In the 4 years I have had this monitor, it always said Analog.
    But, never worked like that.
    The OSD shows DVI-D connected
