    I won´t defend nvidia, i can just say, the gtx 480 i owned before worked as intended over the whole lifespan, besides being a power eater, and all in all customers didn´t have much problems, if HW was OK. Nonetheless there are always configurations that make problems, but there will always be...

    I don´t say nvidia GPUs/drivers always work great.
    But driver team gives you the feeling of doing at least something regulary;)

    Never forget 196.75 WHQL :flame::micro:

    Don't think AMD can go much below that. Which doesn't mean current driver updates are flawless

    AMD made some hype and that's the result :D
    Anyway I was able to download 15.3.1, but no difference in components and in games ofcourse.

    Really???

    Before writing something first you have to make sure what they are talking about.

    Goes to the nvidia forum and sees what is happening and read carefully.

    I hate Nvidia fanboys.. :):)

    Bought a BenQ freesync monitor and was anticipating a freesync driver.. that arrived sort of in a leaked press driver. Happy enough because the driver seems to be just fine for that. It gives the "feeling" its just the previous driver specially compiled for just.. freesync reviews? (nothing against that) What else is there to explain for the same d3d version? (correct me if i am wrong) It seems it has "incomplete" profiles for fc4 and evolve, but hey not public ;-). If I enable crossfire for evolve it just crashes and returns to desktop. Single card is working fine just like the same experience in the previous driver.

    -Just a quick message what i noticed. Not tested it much further-.

    For what it is worth; when i had sli gtx 670's, lots of problems. I buy card(s) based on specs and what information is available. Sure, this is a let down from AMD but the lifespan for my 2 290x's is longer. Not going to shell out lots of $$ because I am butthurt for a few months. NOW.. further releases from AMD sure needs to be in line and be OK. Next year i will be buying cards based on the information that will be available at THAT moment. AMD ****ed up this year? Then NVIDIA, else hey what is the best bang for the buck?

    This post seems to be longer that I wanted, sorry if it makes no sense to some people. I was lurking this thread solely for freesync and just registered to post my 2cents.

    I'm in the exact same boat - i'm just about to take out one of my 290xs to see how freesync handles with my BenQ. I'm not sure where I go next generation - the next choice is going to be 390x vs. whatever Nvidia comes up with - but I'm never using a dual-GPU solution again. My gut tells me it's going to be May or June until we get CF support for Freesync.
