It's funny you mention msaa because I turned it off in dragon age and put all else on ultra and I went up 10fps.. Was hitting 40-50... Almost talked myself out of buying the second 980 and just playing without MSAA. Can't really tell a difference anyway

It's only worth it if you can actually use both 4gb of Vram in Win 10.

Think i read people with sli could start using all the vram with win 10.

As long as that is true then go for it. Otherwise i'd wait for a higher vram card.

Gotta love you 980 owners believing there is an actual performance issue with the 970.
I can assure you that someone with any i5/i7 combined with 970 is getting better performance than your gimped machine :)

on-topic: 980 sli will be the obvious way to go, the new titan will be too costly and it's performance will not be as good as 2 980's.

I think he means that his OCed 780Ti:s perform like 970s

So got it all together in SLI. Love it so far! I ran 3d mark 11 and got a over score of 20509! Then last night I upgraded to the new drivers that came out. They seem better than my prevoius on dragon age at least. But today I ran 3d mark 11 and scored 5000 ? Wtf... It doesn't see my graphics cards for some reason ? Not that 3d matters but would like to compare drivers

Gotta love you fools jumping to conclusions as to what a post meant, guessing - when in actual fact I was suggesting he meant that his SLI 780tis were on par with SLI 970s, hence the performance being the same

Did you enable SLi in the Nvidia control panel after you upgraded your drivers?

Forgotten to do that myself sometimes then wondered why things were running horribly :)

I thought I was pretty clear saying I had 970sli performance for 16 months when the 970 was out about 1/2 that time. You understood that.

Well when you throw out a bizarre non-sequitur like that people tend to get confused.

Not really, it was pretty obvious what was meant.
