So back in that 19 game graph leak thingy from a few weeks ago. Not only were the QHD results wrong by 20% but the clocks were wrong too. That's why I hate stupid leaks. Anyway, yeah -- This card is great if you got money to blow but it's definitely not cost effective at $1000.
Not much else to say that hasn't been said by anyone else that it's a great card, but just not worth the money. It also has a crappy cooler, which means more heat and noise than alot would like or having to spend more money changing the cooler. Sure it will still sell really well though as it has no competition, though a wee accidental 390X leak by AMD might slow down sales to those who are on the fence.
Nice review H but like others have stated 500 pound for the extra performance over 980s is not worth it. Hopefully it will drop in price pretty quickly because they will want to sell as many as they can before the 390 lands. H BTW I know you aren't English but wth is "thumb of rule" lol.
It`s only 999$ coz they have no competition from AMD,but once the 390X gets released I bet that we will see a price drop.
I'd like to see the sort of clocks this thing can do under water and modded, I don't think it's worth it on air tbh. Might as well go for sli 970/980's.
Absolute waste of money. Wait for the 980 Ti. At least the original Titan had DP. AMD better hurry up or nVidia is just going to keep price gouging.
The DP on the first Titan didn`t do anything for gaming. With custom pcb+cooler from AIB with 6 GB on 700$..I`m fine with that.
Yeah, but it did if you used the Titan for something other than just gaming. They can and they will. Its already confirmed there are engineer samples of something in between the 980 and Titan X.
