Techland Announce Dying Light (PS3/360/PC/PS4/XBOXONE)

I have season pass but don't see this bundle on ps4

Oh not released yet. But what was the update about. My ps4 version updated today

 

Maybe only the PC version was already patched and that update refers to PS4?

 

Look forward to the Ultimate Survivor Bundle. Especially the free Hard Mode! Finding the game too easy at the mo.

Game is a good laugh though, thoroughly enjoying it!

 

Game is running SO much better now.
Giving a solid 60fps at all times. A much more enjoyable experience.

Now I just have to get back into it and continue my playthough.

 

If I'd bought the season pass I would be more than a tad annoyed by getting DLC likes this.

1). The weapon packs while looking unique actually don't do anything that can't already be done by weapons that are in the base game. The attack and damage animations are the same weather you're using the buzzsaw or weather you are using a long sword. The part of them that is unique is their look.

2). The outfits are even more pointless since the only thing you'll see of them is the gloves, unless they do something special that I missed in that trailer.

The free Hard mode though, now we are talking, though releasing on the same day as GTA5's heists, not good

 

Just made it to Old Town.
I've read a lot of people saying the minute they made it to Old Town their performance tanked... so I was expecting the worst.

But, made it outside and started running around buildings and such. Frame rate is showing a solid 60 with no problems. Is great.

 

Maybe today or tomorrow I'd already get to actually playing this...
damn postman has mislaid my order.

Ordered the disc version for "convenience", though in this time I'd have downloaded the game from Steam a couple of times already

 

Depends on your settings. I'm not seeing your 750ti being able to keep 60fps at Very High, not a chance.

 

Well, yes, naturally it depends on your settings.

But the bulk of what I've seen has been people posting that no matter what they've done, they've taken big frame rate hits when moving to Old Town.
Changing settings, tweaking that... doesn't do anything. And that Old Town runs worse then the first map.
Where as I'm getting better performance in Old Town, without v-sync Old Town runs around 70+ fps.

 

Patch should be out tomorrow.

Just love this game. Most fun i've had in ages.

 

Finally!

Got this running yesterday and yeah, I can tell from the first two hours that I'm going to like it a lot.
The setting is somewhat similar to Metro games and actually has a funny contrast to that too.
In Metro people took refuge underground, in Dying Light you take refuge above and preferably as high as possible

Excellent graphics and solid performance so far, just got outside for the first time.
I set draw distance to minimum as it seemed to have virtually no impact on IQ but does indeed cause frame rate drops.

Everything else enabled, even HBAO, which surprisingly doesn't seem to hinder performance (Vsync on 60 hz).
I turned film grain off tho, I think it's too strong in this one.

 

It also seems the 1.5 patch is out in the US, but not elsewhere yet.

My game patched to 1.4 yesterday, haven't checked today tho (damn work, always interferes with gaming time...).

 

Apparently the DLC weapons don't scale so they're utterly useless.

 

Yup, they meant for low level.
