I have set Flash to ask to activate and my problem is the YT videos embedded in sites. They require flash for some reason even though YT obviously works well in HTML5 now. How can I force them to work in HTML5 instead of enabling flash?

36 feels legit a good browser again, I've been getting graphic errors crashes everything last few versions but 36 feels solid also has support for html5 youtube videos at 1080p 60fps.

I was under the impression we're getting an official 37 x64 build from Mozilla :( Either they're not releasing a Beta and going straight for release (weird) or weren't able to meet their milestones.

Im curious to what other people use for flash/video download for addon in FF.

    I use to use
    [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/flash-video-downloader/
    Flash Video Downloader

I since heard it has Malware in not sure it true or not but it also go bloated and with options. FVD use to be much similar and basic I Since Removed it.

    Started use
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-flash-and-video/
    Flash and Video.

It much much similar and basic and does what i want to it to do just show the video download with its actual name.

Gonna have to test Official x64 builds version 3rd party, if there isnt much of difference i will probably go back to official builds alot of the 3rd party build dont update to the newest builds automatically like official builds do, at lest not the 3rd party builds i tested.

I use download youtube videos as mp4 for youtube and 4k video downloader for 1080p clips. For fb I use this site and this one for the rest. Since the vast majority of my video downloads of this kind are from youtube, it's the only add on I installed.

Finally their media source extension implementation is stable enough (you must manually enable it) for YouTube... So far no issues. Finally 1080p works again.

Go to this link and make sure it says "The HTML5 player is currently used when possible." If it does not say that, just click request the HTML5 player. For 1080p and 60 fps videos, go to about:config and type media.media and make sure all 4 entries are enabled (3 out 4 are by default). This should get you up and running with a fully featured HTML5 yt. Only problem is embedded videos on other sites.

Been using it since yesterday and RAM usage is around 80-100MB higher than 32bit but it's alright. No other negative consequences. If you have plugins you use, there could be issues. I just have itunes incompatible but I don't care about it. No obvious speed difference but I haven't used it long enough to know for sure ... haven't gone above 20 tabs open so far. Stability is fine too.
