I seriously can't wait. As you can see on my profile I am running a 770 right now. I am going to go nuts when the new ones come up and likely pop for the best money can buy. Gm200? Droool! I just hope I don't have to swap for a new MOBO or something crazy to run it. Anyone care to speculate on what's to come, improvements, etc?

    Best

You will not have to swap MB, but price would be around that...

I'm kinda more stoked to see what AMD has coming because they're hyping it up right now. We'll see what nVidia's answer is after that.

I am kind of curious to see if Nvidia comes out with a X90 dual GPU gm200 card. Or will they save the dual GPU card for another Titan based card.

Titan-X might very well happen, if not its probably a 980ti. But of course this is speculation.

I hope it's something that will make me want to ditch my 780s.

Have to say im looking forward to the next round of GPU's. Single cards is boarder line at 2560x1440 atm, so definitely up for an upgrade.

It looks like AMD will be out first, and im not sure i'll be patient enough to wait and see what NVidia has coming in response!

Well thats how technology works, whatever you have in your case will be "outdated" every 4 months anyway.

Very good possibility. Also I could see them making a Titan card and making 980ti card from the Titian but disabling some specs that only the Titan would have. Just like they did with the 970 from the 980.

Again from my pov I really doubt we will see Maxwell, Pascal yes, but not Maxwell GM200 because of missing Double Precision - FP64..
    http://www.kitguru.net/components/g...lopment-of-graphics-processing-architectures/

Why would they make a Titan Card now if its missing FP64, makes no sense. GM200 will have 6gb anyway so that's that. :nerd:

EDIT: as for release date, either in March-April or max end May, early June.

980 ti aint happening, 980 is a good as gm204 is going to get, unless they release a dual gm204 like the 690 gk104

GM200 will be a beast but I'm more interested in Pascal's unified memory.
