    Sir please cease and desist from mentioning this ever again.Treat it like the spoon analogy from the Matrix.There is no problem.Your welcome! As a matter of fact, I ran MHO bench with gpu-z in the back and my cards max memory of 2003mb.You don't see me jumping all over forums asking Nvidia for my 45mb back.Yeezus!!!

    How is image quality in these? Do they keep to have more aliasing and reduced draw distance?

    Actually, NVIDIA is looking at coming up with a solution where everything other than frame buffer is somehow allocated into the slower partition, which currently needlessly goes into the faster one. This would free up even more space in the "prime partition". Not a fix, but then again nothing was broken in the first place.

    Hi,
    I believe have managed to avoid the bug did after re-installing the 347.25 driver, open the GFE (2.2.2) and disable the update check drivers.
    I did it several hours ago and the GFE still works ok.
    I hope this helps.

    Quick temp fix for GFE:
    Set the value for LastTabIdx in the user.config file to 0 and avoid the driver tab:

    Code:
    <setting name="LastTabIdx" serializeAs="String">
    <value>0</value>
    </setting>
    Location for user.config:

    Code:
     C:\Users\[Your Windows Username]\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\GFExperience.exe_Url_tgm3mttmt5itflhj0kykoi5xkjy53x4g\17.13.3.1\

    The problem is with driver 347.52

    Disable update and GFE will still crash.

    That would be the best solution if they haven't already started quietly making an reboot of the GTX 970 cards.

    Good to know, but when reinstalled the 347.25 driver and tried the GFE, it always crashed when starting to automatically check the driver version. The problem also occurs with version 347.25, at least on my computer.

    Thanks for the fix.

    Yeah, as soon as I opened GFE and saw the "New Driver" announcement, I tried to click on "See Changes". Or whatever. Anyway, ever since that, GFE kept crashing. Just as described.

    The fix, above, repaired my GFE issue.

    Thanks,
    Ken

    To all veterans that only install driver and physx...

    how the hell do you update your profiles...? From the moment Nvidia chose to update/add profiles (not with newer drivers installed..you know what I mean) ONLY via GFE then if someone (like me) wants his profiles to be updated it's the only way,to install GFE too(though I only let it search for updates and then I shut it down,also I don't have any game folders for optimizing my games from Nvidia,that I do it manually).
    I am listening..

    They just gather around the fire, sing special mantra and then update profiles manually.

    I use Nvidia Inspector for my profiles, i never go anywhere near the Nvidia control panel. Download and install new driver and then import my exisiting profiles from Inspector.

    Caution!! Make sure you export all of your game profiles from Nvidia Inspector before you uninstall a driver because if you dont you will lose all of your profiles.
