Congratulations with your new card :)
But of course it is never funny, when hardware fails in such a way as your 570 GTX did :(
The 980 is a good choice at this point for Single GPU, since it is reasonably affordable due to "980 Ti" or whatever coming out around March or April.

Personally I'm holding out for two 6GB next generation Maxwell cards.
4GB is pushing it at 4K in some games today, if you want to go nuts with AA settings and so on in SLI mode :D

Yeah, that's why I mentioned that i'd eventually just sell it and use that and pay the difference for a better card if I want to have good AA at the best settings for future games
Some videos or screenshots would be nice. Only have posted what others have tested and thought to be working. I don't have BL2 so I can't test myself.

Screenshots and videos do not capture it ("cube" and manifestations through the interface...there is only barely noticeable flicker). I tried FRAPS and MSI Afterburner.

I believe the original tester complained about ghosting issues with "0x00000020".
So you are saying these problems are not present with "21" in BL2?
Please remember to test both with and without DoF enabled.

20 has the "cube" and visual artifacts with and without DoF. Flickers.
With 2F, I did not notice the visual artifacts but there were flickering and the "cube".
21 works with and without DoF. For all time use did not notice the flicker. No the "cube" and no manifestations through the interface. If you hate halo - select performance.

Interesting, I've reinstalled the game today to test 21 again, and I'm still getting flickering right off the bat. 1920x1080p, max settings except AA off, 340.52 drivers. What are your settings?

Tested at 1600x900 only on the first stage.
    Issues
    • Very little flickering on the environment (hardly worth mentioning).
    • No effect is applied to 47, or around him near surfaces, but on rare occasions it'll apply. Not applied | Applied

    Link does not work.
I used the maximum settings. 1080p. FXAA disabled (HBAO+ works with FXAA). Driver 347.25 WHQL.
I have never encountered a flicker with 21.

    Update for Borderlands 2.
21 is not perfect. I met flicker when my shield was struck by the elements.

But "0x00000021" is still a better option than "0x0000002F" in BL2?
If that is the case, then it is still worth changing the HBAO+ listing to this new flag IMO.

Yes. 21 is better. It does not have the "cube". Does not appear through the interface. Rarely flickers.

Check the hex value vs "Disabled" and "Enabled"

    Both are 0x00000001
