Didn't they recently push an update that solved the performance issues anyway?

Good Job Sunset I try your performance patch and I managed to keep a steady 60fps while the game is maxed out and view distance @ 25%.
And since FOV also impacts your fps I should add that my fov is 90.

Original game file same settings it would sometimes dip into the high 50 when it comes to fps.

So thumbs up on this little performance patch thingy :)

Without grabbing Depth Buffer info access from injectors like Reshade or ENB you cannot have DOF effects even in SweetFX neither for screenshots nor game and current Reshade version as of 0.14.0 cannot grab the Game's depth buffer. Only way is if Sunset found any settings in game's data to turn the Nvidia's DOF ON in game's gameplay camera and not only in Cutscenes or Conversations. I tinkered with the game hidden internal settings but without any luck yet.

I know that it decreases performance and that's because Nvidia added it only in cut scenes . I saw that you disabled it in varlist_dof.scr as you made all parameters "0" but how can i enable it myself in game ? Must i change the
VarFloat("f_dof_far", 0.0) to something ? as that seems to break the textures for me or you enabled it in some of the game's ppfx files ?

    VarFloat("f_dof_far_max", 30.0)

Why is overyone so into the DOF thing ? I feel it's the same as motion blur it's useless when you running around, all it does is make pretty screenshots but nice to know we can tweak things :)

The thing is, i could not repack it right with any tool i've tried ): and the game finds modified pak0.pak and won't start displaying an error message "data files is corrupted" or something like that. Sunset what tool you did you use to repack data0.pak file again ?

Sunset , could you post the preset with DOF enabled in game.I know you said it decreases performance , but I would like to try it out just how much , because it looks very nice in your' screens.

I'd like that too mate if you can.

Also can anyone upload the original file as I accidentally overwrote it? :D
