Any feedback on how well these perform in battlefield 4? I'm still using 14.11 betas.

Working fine with BF4 on my 7970 (played about 2 hours so far). I'm noticing no difference to the 14.12's.

Well the 14.12s gave me a decrease in performance. Guess I'll just have to test these

Just back to report... I downloaded it officially from the AMD Site, the link that Guru3D posted on the home page.

    I own a Gigabyte 7970 OC - 1050Mhz (Core) 1400Mhz (Memory) Power Limit +20.

There seemed to be an increase of 10FPS in COD AW with certain settings (which is impressive to say the least)... However while playing online (not with the same settings obviously, here with lower settings that maintain a consistent 91FPS), about 40 minutes into my game-play, I had a random RED-Screen of Death (Don't ask me what that is, as it was the first time I witness such an atrocity in my life). PC completely froze, it wasn't a blue screen of death, nor a black screen, but rather red. Anyway, I reset the PC, the videocard was acting weird, I used DDU to uninstall, then tried to install Omega (previous driver) but it failed. Which was weird, I noticed MSI AfterBurner was acting weird also. Anyway these drivers come with a OEM Application (which I found in Programs & Features under control panel), which DDU somehow didn't remove. I uninstalled that, used DDU again (just in-case), uninstalled MSI-AfterBurner + Server. Restarted the PC, and installed Omega then MSI-AfterBurner, everything is back to normal now.

Haven't tried to re-install the drivers again, maybe this could be investigated further, as I myself don't know what caused the issue to be honest. Not sure if it was MSI-Afterburner incompatibility or the drivers themselves, or that weird OEM Application that installed with the drivers. No Idea.

Or, AMD is being serious in empathising that these are for Dell/Alienware laptops only meeting the requirements (and thus lack VSR considering those laptops won't support it) :p

The version numbers match the Omega drivers in everything except CCC version, driver version, and OpenGL version. There could be other subtle differences, but it does appear these drivers are based off the Omega drivers.

Not recommended for normal users this driver, according to AMDMatt.

True but even all the beta drivers are not recommended for normal users.

we do not need any recommendation from that AMDMatt, we need a new driver.

if not, a modded one is at least benefical for certain users

What do we need a new driver for this time? Did some other horribly-coded game come out recently that AMD needs to fix?

You've been quite negative towards AMDMatt recently, is it well founded? ;)

Just use the Omega driver and wait for the next release. There is nothing wrong with the Omega driver. Next driver will hopefully have the driver-level frame capper.

This driver is only for the Alienware Graphics Amplifier.

Your card isnt listed, because the amplifier doesnt support it.

I have seen no in there why you have to be mad at him.
You were a total jerk in your comments in the thread to him, and in general towards AMD.
Just get a green gpu and get out if your gonna be a muppet.

I would like to know that myself but there's no idea to have that discussion all over again (in every driver thread) and I think we're better off just waiting for an official 15.2 driver.
