    Alright, thanks for the info.

You wouldn't happen to know anything about HRAA from the consoles being implemented on PC? It clearly works on AMD hardware, but perhaps it needs specific optimisation?

Also, since you didn't say anything regarding Sleeping Dogs definitive edition, would I be correct to assume that there won't be a crossfire profile for it?

If anything I get around 1-3% less performance with this driver compared to 14.4, AMD seems it doesn't care for the older gen GPUs. looks like I am going nvidia next time.

Heh, check your frametimes in games. There is a new framepacing method implemented for CFX configs. You should have slightly lower FPS, but frametimes should be more consistent with these.

Arg. These started out so well for me, but with all the desktop flickering, the firefox corruption and sleep bugs (seemingly different than the classic SoD bug? Replugging the monitor used to bring the pc to life but now I have to do a hard boot), these have actually turned out to be one of the worst sets I've ever used.

I think at one point I was pretty happy with the OpenCL drivers, probably stay on those utill next release.

I don't know anything about that and it seems unlikely that Sleeping Dogs will get a profile in the near future.

Is there a new catalyst this month or not? Terry Makedon didn't tell a word.

The driver is the same as 14.12 it seems from first glance without installing. (Could be wrong .. I only checked the ver numbers during custom install)

However it does include an OEM Application profile.

Seeing how an eGPU on the new Alienwares most likely requires custom profiles because of the dynamic switching aspect.

Can you even get them to install?

    As their Dell drivers.

Looks like the Alienware driver has a newer driver version.

    Also, everything else is newer...

This is for the Dell Alienware Amplifier only, it's not recommended for normal desktop users!

    Amateur mistake on my behalf.

Driver needs to be unlocked first for my card.

So the Dell driver is indeed newer. I wonder if it fixes any of the BSOD issues people were having on Dells without eGPUs.

Regardless it is clear from the inf file that only a small % of GPUs are supported.

There are however no big changes in the inf file in terms of settings.

These drivers could very well work if the settings for all missing cards are reintroduced.

Seems like the only big difference is the OEM application profiles . xml file which is just an OEM blb/xml file for the switching of applications to the eGPU.

    I know.
But at this point, I take anything regardless new drivers.
You guys still haven't fixed the performance issues in Metal Gear Solid V, just as an example.

Besides, if I install this drivers and it breaks my PC. It's MY fault, not yours. So, I won't blame AMD for that.

Yes you cant blame AMD for that, however you will surelly buy NVIDIA card next time because they always fix the performance issues before the game come out (exp: Metal Gear Solid V in 347.09) in addition its a WHQL :)
