    600mm2?

Whatever it is, it's going to be very expensive.

I wonder if they'll do like a GTX990 with 2x 970's for non 4K people then like a Titan II for people who want 4K.

    GTX990 @ $800
    Titan II @ $1000

More than 600mm2, something in the 620mm2 range.

Let them allready do a single core chips GM200 based chips ( outside quadro ) then a dual chips..

The rumor was saying that there will not be tesla based GM200 ( nvidia Japan computing presentation ), this could imply not much FP64 support ( some say 1:32 as maxwell GM204, i think more to something in the 1/8 or even 1/4 )

Now that it seems the die is so big, i ask me if this really true. ( well its not the FP64 processors who cost much in place anyway ).

Looking forward to see these beasts in action, however AMD will have to put out their stuff first before nvidia's "answer".

If it's gonna be released as a Geforce gaming card, then it looks like it's going to have a lot more impact then the original Titan, judging by the leaked specs.
But this sucker isn't going to sell for anything cheap, that's for sure.

I would be more interested in a 512 bit 8GB 980Ti or something. Especially if you're going to use all that memory at once at 1440p+ resolutions the bandwidth issues are becoming significant.

Agreed! 512 bit bus and 8gb vram would be alot more sweet than 384 bit and 12 gb vram.

This card will be a beast, just like the first Titan, but before even thinking about upgrading to GM200 I will first wait for the gaming version, the Ti.

I really doubt normal GF variant will feature the same 12gb, more like 6gb..

If that pixel fillrate is accurate then it looks like a good upgrade from GK110 almost 100% higher fillrate:nerd:

This time I can happily skip it. I'm quite happy with my current card (cool, quiet and rather fast). The next big thing after this might actually even run games properly at 4K resolution.

Last year I swapped my cards so quickly that I don't plan to do that any time soon again.
