SOmehow i cant install the omega driver any longer. I just installed a soundblaster Z and right after the installation a message popped up that CCC cant find a driver.DDu doesnt help either, the install programm just doesnt recognize my card. Any other driver workes fine, Windows update, 14.11.2......just not the omega. CanĀ“t even force installation through the system control panel.
    What went wrong here:wanker::bang:

Is it normal that The Crew is lagging a bit with 4x MSAA on 7950 in crossfire?

I think the AA in this game is really tanking the FPS ALOT, i've noticed after the beta that tree's etc have now AA applied.

    This wasn't in the beta.

Meh, i was sure if i got a second card i could have 4xMSAA in this game. :(

It's pretty rare to have a Gameworks title work properly on AMD hardware, driver tweaking can only do so much if the base code is not generic. Have you tried forcing the AA in CCC or RP instead of in-game? Sometimes that helps.

I hear you, i was considering going the other way, to Nvidia, but HELL NO!.

I don't care me 290 sucks way more power than em, and is way hotter, at least it bloody works! :D

well it wouldn't be an upgrade really anyway. Untill nvidia releases the more powerful cards and amd also. 0-10% faster 980 isn't an option atm nor is the bit slower 970 if you have 290x or 290 or 780 ti or 780 or well you know anything good.

Max Payne 3 does not like the new 14.12 "omega" drivers, crashes constantly and freezes randomly during cut-scenes.

Dude, It's not about AMD vs Nvidia
It's about which company provides a better stable drivers, I have a bad experience with AMD.

OpenGL is a pure joke, you see I'm using cards not just for gaming, but that's the other story.

I'm happy it works for you.
If Id were an nvidia fanboy I would never purchase any AMD cards.

I've found a nice article on internet, AMD or Nvidia processors usage in modern games, go read it.

    Thanks for the article.
AMD is clearly lagging behind about harnessing the CPU power.

Soo I didn't launch Photoshop for like a few months and a month ago I installed 14.12 (used DDU as usual).
So far everything worked fine but today I had to use Photoshop. Installed all of the latest updates, launched it and got an error saying that my videocard doesn't have 512mb VRAM and because of that some features are disabled and overall Photoshop works really slow.
Last time I launched Photoshop was on previous drivers and it worked fine. Anyone else experience this issue with these drivers? Or I just need to reinstall PS?

    Oh and I run 6850HD 1GB VRAM on Win 8.1 x64

Nope, but it should be before the end of the month unless they skip right to 15.2.
