Thanks for the feedback and glad you're enjoying it. We put a lot of effort into this driver, but we're not done yet. There's still more to come. :)

Fixes hopefully!! Alien: Isolation hangs with Depth-of-Field enabled and The Evil Within doesn't render menus or options with 14.12 on an R9 285 (reported with screengrabs to AMD, Sega and Bethesda...)

There is no specific ETA, but the rough timeframe you've suggested is correct at the time of writing.

    Matt.
Metal Gear Solid V performance, on AMD GPUs, is BAD, like REAL bad.

Any chance for an updated Omega driver for this game, just like nVidia did?

LOL. I have EXACTLY the same problem on my buddy's computer.
I realy don't understand how come AMD can get away with all these bugs.
    Awful, just awful drivers.

And I was considering to buy AMD, HELL NO!

If it matters, I still really do love my AMD card.

Also, it would seem that in my case, the sleep of death bug is directly related to my second output (tv), contrary to the behavior seen in the 14.4 and below driver sets.
If I leave the machine for a while, with the tv selected as main monitor and the desktop monitor selected as either extend or do not extend I will get the sleep of death bug. If I am currently only displaying to my pc, or displaying to pc as main monitor with tv set to extend I will not get the bug.

We just rolled back to 14.9 and it looks like the black flickering flash bug and memory corruption is gone, simple amazing, lol.

    Super great driver 14.12, NOT!

I borrowed this picture from another user, but serve it's purpose, the same problem.

You're right. One buggy driver release warrants AMD to be wiped off the planet. nvidia master race.

    Not.

I'm almost going to go out on a limb and say you have actual hardware issues that just happen to be exposed with a new driver.

I don't have any problems so far. I haven't noticed any major difference with it either. Most likely because this update isn't aimed for my 270x. WEI did bump up from 7.1 to 7.9 though so that's something.

They really shouldn't have bothered repackaging the old 7000s if they're not gonna bother implementing the new features on the equivalent r7/r9.

    NO, absolutely no.
This is a hardware issue w/ hardware acceleration in firefox, also with 14.12 fast start is broken, black screen.

I started getting buzzing audio + fps lag in every game after nearly a week of perfect performance.

I don't get it, but I reverted back to the 14.11.2 betas or whatever and everything is running fine again.

OMEGAs are some tricky drivers it seems...

I've used Firefox for about 20-30 minutes the other day (was doing some tests with it and Chrome), visited websites, and played back HW-accelerated video, and have seen no issues with 14.12. I've tried both a stable version and nightly of Firefox at the time.

There are gazilions computer configurations, etc.
    FYI, it's a crossfire problem.
Simple fix for US was a rollback to 14.9

Crossfire problem related? You think. My crossfired 7970s play hardware accelerated video on firefox with no problems using this 14.12 driver.

    Note: running win 8.1

This is something I see in Firefox everyday with these drivers. Usually multiple times. It also does not coincide with a clock change. I've also not been able to subdue it by changing the memory timings... though I did net a few more fps.

Seem driver related at this point.

I have those bluescreens since 13.12 drivers. Netbook passes mtest, hdd bad sectors checking. Also no artifacts while playing old games and it's not overheating. Bsods show up in idle average twice per month. I've tried every single driver release since 13.12, tried DDU last two times.

Netbook was fully stable on Linux (when I had it as 2nd system)

    Any ideas?
