What does gay people buying games have to do with anything? All sexualities are welcome to enjoy space sims as far as I'm concerned.
Steam also doesn't like games having cash shops I think. edit, i'm not sure if it's done through the game or on their website
paid 59 usd but installer giving me error UNHANDLED EXCEPTION DURING PROJECT UPDATE bla bla versioninfotxt.new WTF man..WTF! poor sht gay game.
Tryr running the launcher as administartor, If that does not work.. go into the folder where you installed your elite lanucher and delete the products folder and start the launcher again. Deleting the products folder means you have too redownloaded the game.
Loving this game, have killed over 18 people now (bounties) and have had one death. I was on this game until 7am this morning! I even killed 2 Anacondas with BooM and ZooM tactics that i use in Rise of flight. I collected a Bounty of over 240k!! Some people have a status of Master and Deadly and they completely suck balls in battle, how they got there rating i will never know. They probably playing in solo mode killing NPC players lol. Anyhow making my way over to Sol now were i can start trading as i know the surrounding systems over there. Were the game put me was very far away and i didnt know my surroundings. Remember guys you need a a Permit to Enter Sol System. Im spoilt for choice this year, i have ED and GTA 5 as well as Last of US on PS4. Gaming feels good once again, ED is getting all my time atm, have not played GTA 5 in a few days now.
Be honest, you're getting bored of the game. Have you noticed that the scenery doesn't really change? You can travel hundreds of light years from where you started, yet the space stations you dock with look the same, the system interfaces remain identical, the soft computer voice that welcomes you to each new port is the same. In its current state, it's a game with a lot of soul but very little personality. Just as the endless quest to acquire and consume in real life ultimately rings hollow, so too does Elite's upwardly mobile trajectory. It has the sheer scale needed to sell the notion of space travel, with billions of stars and planets to visit, but it feels like less of a journey when your only interaction with them is via the same few station designs and the same sterile menus.
