When someone test DSR/VSR on BF4, I would expect no less than comparing it to built in down sampling feature and to add screenshot for IQ comparison.

And I really look forward to see what kind of improvement APUs get.

It is not available yet, it will be available since tomorrow.

Is that tomorrow Asian time, or tomorrow US time? If it's tomorrow Asian time, it could be as early as in say, 12 hours or whatever. If it is tomorrow in US time, and released at say, 4 pm Western US time, it would be say, 36 hours time.

AMD aren't known for releasing drivers on time, just look at the dates on their driver releases, sometimes weeks behind. So just think "sometime this month".

WHQL is what holds the drivers up. The official WHQL process I believe takes around a month. That's why I suggested that maybe a beta driver will be released soon as well, hopefully, since they don't have the same restriction. They are signed internally, but not officially WHQL signed. A beta driver could be released tomorrow that was compiled today for example, or at least, compiled on Friday.

When Mantle have been delayed ? If you speak about the developpers final SDK, developpers got it allready as part of the beta program.. its mostly due because it evolve continuously since it have been introduced.

Seriously, if you are a developpers, just sign in the beta, you will not get anything more with the "final" sdk. And it is free. Anyway i dont see what anyone can do with it, if you are not developping games and want to port your graphic engine on it.

The final SDK will not stay a long time final, because it evolve so fast as Mantle is developped in collaboration with the studios who use it, reporting stuff, change etc, that the "betas" used by developpers will be more advanced that the final one.

Came here to say this. They were awesome drivers.

I am excited that we are getting a rewrite. I am hopeful they have learned a thing or 2 and this won't be a **** show again.

    the NDA lists tomorrow.

It would be pretty silly if all the review sites post their articles and there is no driver.

Mantle works fine for many people.

    Did you meant this?

You are not only one who says that anyone can get SDK. And you are wrong.

The latest word on the Mantle SDK is, as far as I remember from a few weeks ago, they still want to release it to the public within this year, and Open Source it.

Nobody cares, nobody will miss you, nobody will welcome you either.

There is separate thread for these who are going to change gpu to one from nvidia, go write there.

I can just image... the demand for this driver is so high that when it is released it will take what seems like forever to download ;)

Driver optimization for multi core CPUs allows up to 15% more performance for some AMD platforms

Perceptively, Dragon Age Inquisition improved smoothness incredibly with these drivers (I have only tried dx mode), compared to beta 14.11

That is great to hear, but a bit sad as well because I won't be able to play it until January. :wanker: Could you try out mantle as well? Do enable the graph with perfoverlay_graph 1 and check if you see any CPU spikes.

Can't believe AMD finally put out a worthwhile driver!
