That's weird. How comes news about something like this didn't leak anywhere yet? I won't believe it until I see it with my own eyes.

I dont think that HD5xxx/6xxx are supported while R9series/HD7xxx are parciallly supported. the only cards fully supported are 285 and 290/x an other joke made in amd

Hilbert confirmed as much as he could under the NDA that this info is right. Official release on Monday.

VSR like DSR or whatever it is on NVIDIA is performance heavy. How many people with NVIDIA mid end cards use it to play Far Cry 4 etc? A one size fits all antialiasing? How successful did that turn out?! No problem being on the R9-290 for now, no point offering it on the R9-270x just so people can whinge they can't play the latest high end game properly.

Video card users summed up:
AMD users - get given a potential awesome driver with Omega, so let's just whinge and moan about them not doing more.
NVIDIA users - oh this driver doesn't work, let's just keep it our little secret shall we?

 

To late for me i purchased a msi 970gtx earlier this week just waiting for it to arrive,that said im sure my sister will love playing the Sims 4 in 4k>1080 VSR.....myself i just got sick of waiting for AMD to respond to all the bug reports & calls for an updated CCC features/DS/black screening & bug fixes...

looking at other posts here it seems I im not alone & it looks like they lost a lot of users just to there slow response,still glad to see they got there finger out for the rest of you guys :banana:

 

I don't need a higher resolution, games already look great on ultra (even on medium imo).
I just want stable drivers that give stable fps in all situations.

Right now BF4 is unplayable with mantle, framerates drop to below 10. And I heard it's not better with Dragon Age.

 

Just had 2 round in BF4 with Mantle, no problem what so ever and i play DA:I with Mantle since day one.

 

ditto on my 290, not a single mantle issue on BF4/Theif/DAI/Civ:BE

as a side note, DAI with mante is the only game ive ever played where mid 40s fps feels like its over 60fps.

No issues here with BF4 and mantle whatsoever. Rock solid 60fps 1080p Ultra No AA even on 64 player servers.

I think the issue is on you and not on AMD.

 

One of these days I need to get BF4 and DA:I just to help verify some of these claims

 

run smooth and fast on my 2 rigs : R9 290 and R9 280 with these drivers !

 

im not really a fan of bf4, i just bought it to check out mantle.

DAI on the other hand is handsdown one of the best games ive ever played.

i highly recommend it. Its phenomenal. Its well worth paying full retail. There are 100s of hours of content and the visuals are stunning.

 

What is with all these new people with a hand full of post trashing AMD? Has Rolo resurfaced for NVidia with a bunch of different monikers? Just wondering.
