This is not relating to GTA 5, but how come we never got a Red Dead Redemption for PC? The game would of sold. Kind of disappointed they never did, I played partially when I had a PS3, would love to finish the game on PC.

I read old interviews with the devs and they basically said RDR has a rough dev phase. It took longer than expected, bugs, they had problems getting the horses right, MP needed new concepts (freeroam etc) and after a while some ppl wanted to stop it altogether.

In the end they agreed to let it finish but it was an experiment. The whole game is old code totally suited for oldGen consoles only so a PC version would've been even more of a mess than GTA IV.

That and the usually MS / Sony exclusive contracts.

BUT (!!!!) RDR2 is in the works for all systems.

Good show! I've had mine pre-ordered for PS4 since it was officially announced and available to order. I will also pick it up on PC next year as it is released just before my birthday. :D

Dont buy console version please. They need to be forced to launch PC version in time and well optimized. ;)
More money from consoles more delays & bad ports for PC version.

Ahh OK then. I’ll cancel my PS4 pre-order and will wait until next year to buy it for my PC that cannot run, just to teach them a lesson!

Will do the same, sounds like a good plan! I will do the same thing with Unity. That would show them.

... That people will buy PC version no matter how bad it's optimized.

    Ok, you do that.

We'll buy the game as we want and play it how we like however.

I dont think companies will go "omg PC sold more copies that console, lets concentrate on PC from now on" :D Personally im getting it on PC, already own a copy on PS3.

    P.S RDR2 would be amazing!

Exactly, the reason the PC gets crap ports is because the sales are so much lower than the consoles, so i fail to see why lower sales would do anything other than make things worse.

We have all saw what low sales has done to the Wii-U, more cancelled and delayed games than any other platform.

I'm looking forward to this next year, game look great and while i'm usually not a fan of the first person view it will a nice new way to play a GTA game.

    Maybe you dont know this:
"Rockstar will use new DRM system in GTA 5 for PC. This system is Denuvo, which also used in FIFA 15 and Lords of the Fallen.
This System uses special code which changes every time so this DRM is still not hacked, and I think it wont be.
No more piracy on PC and only way you can play GTA 5 its Steam. "

I hope will not be like Gfwl, with many game issues and low performance.

    http://gtaforums.com/topic/745799-v-pc-to-use-denuvo-drm/?p=1066428562

    LE: " 'anti-tamper'
enjoy no script hooks, engine improvements, ENB, and so on, it's even worse than CEG "

    .
Then that means I *really* won't be able to play the game on PC as RSS doesn't allow me to register CD keys on their service as it stands :-/

Rockstars DRM sucked for GTA IV with that drunk think affecting those of us who had legit copies.

Wont touch this until the game is out in the wild, performance doesnt suck and doesnt crash regularly, cant stand stupid levels of DRM.

They say it can't be cracked every time, and then someone does it. Single player will be cracked no matter what they do.

    Can't say I'm surprised.
Game cost them 260 million of dollars, for Xbox 360 and PS3 only.
