hmm some weird performance, on the russian site nvidia 780 is better than 290X, here titan black wins over ti by 12 fps? hmm.

Is it the new drivers of nvidia that mess up?

Wow, looks like the next generation of cards will really need 12GB+ ram.. Looks like the GT 930 with 16GB ram for 400 bucks will be really worth it!

If you read the article it is explained, COD is not a reliable enough title to benchmark precisely. One scene will show different results from another. Do the same sequence 3 times and each run the FPS will be a notch different. That can result into weird stuff. As such and as stated in the article, the results are indicative at best.

I will not be adding COD AW to our benchmark suite because of this.

Yep thank you Hilbert, i've played that and tbh i had stuttering regradless of settings in one stage while in other was perfect, stupid engine just need more modification.

All games that come out must be directly compared to BF4, it looks very good performs very good and yet requires powerful system for FHD with MSAA.

The title of some of the graphs need correcting Hilbert, they say MSAA instead of SMAA.

    Nice review though. :D

What settings are reflected in the VRAM usage graphs?

    Max settings, 2 SMAA?

At least you found a solution to the incredibly long loads, would have been mind numbing with that

He uses a ASUS PQ321 for 4k benches, you can see his review of it here.

interesting on high end GPU but also on lower GPU...

NVidia 760ti and AMD 260X do their job quite well i think, they impress me a lot for their cost.

Im getting terrible sound stuttering out of sync in cut scenes.

Also when I apply SMAA tx2 the games textures are all corrupted and its running at 5 fps. when I drop to FXAA it seems fine but very granular and washed out. is this normal? excuse the noob question but is SMAA Nvidia exclusive?

    Oppps Im an idiot
    :stewpid: I had 16x Supersampling

Could really do with a crossfire profiles here too

    cheers

Have you set "Shader Preload During Cutscenes" to OFF? If not, cinematics can stutter.

Hilbert, aside from a flaky benchmark, is the game... fun?

    Yeah,

I know COD is under a lot of fire. But I had a nice two hours with the game this afternoon, honestly it is a pretty fun game with a lot of new original things in it. Combined with some good graphics settings I feel it is worth the money.

So yes, this seems be one the of the better versions released to date. But it is always personal I guess.
