I'd say so too. They want to make money, and they will try to get people to buy Hardline in 2015, then move onto the next BF in 2016 and so on... just like CoD. A shame, but it's EA...

 

They should make BC3 instead, Bad Company 2 was amazing, best BF IMO and best online shooter last gen.

 

Indeed. One year a BF and the next year another BC would be great circle.

 

I would love BC3 with a good single player!

 

BC3 is what series fans are awating, too many Battlefields on the last years, we want Bad Company back, the last one was stunning. Hardline looks a total fail imo.

 

i think BC2 had the best weapon sounds in a BF game, Bf3 had better weapon sounds than bf4 also.

 

I cant believe they don't realize what would be easy money for them:

Next they will be telling us a new cod game will come out next November!....

Why even write rumour, they have been pumping out garbage cash ins years for a while now.

This just in:

Battlefield 6 rumoured for 2017!!!

Battlefield 7 rumoured for 2018!!!

 

Who cares bf games are a shadow of there former self, bf5 will be no different. Buggy unoptimized trash.

Personally, i doubt this, as the entire reasons Battlefield Hardline is not being made by DICE, is the fact they are working on Battlefront 3, and with how many people DICE puts onto their Battlefield games, and Battlefront 3 is their next "Battlefield", (aka next big project), i'm not sure where'd they'd find the resources to build two big games...

It always takes DICE 2 years to build a game that is their BIG project(or i should i say there's a 2 year gap between releases of their big projects), Battlefront 3 is taking two years, Battlefield 5 takes 1? Doesn't make any sense

 

Plus DICE (right?) Is working on Mirror's Edge 2, so You got point there.

 

Sorta...from what i remember Mirrors Edge 2 is being made by a DICE Subsidiary in the USA of which the subsidiary was made specifically to make Mirrors Edge 2, i'm not sure if this means some of the DICE team left the headquarters to make their own studio under DICE's name in the USA, or if it's people who have had nothing to do with DICE ever that EA has labeled DICE to make Mirrors Edge 2

Edit: Looks like i was incorrect, DICE is making Mirrors Edge 2, so yeah their plate is full....


Now, if we do see a Battlefield 5 in 2016, it'll likely be made by DICE Los Angeles...which is essentially Danger Close Games who made the recent Medal of Honor games...but again, i'd find it odd that EA would have a new full fledged original Battlefield game made by any studio other then DICE themselves, but if it's another thing like Battlefield Hardline, and is not called Battlefield 5, that might make sense

Good to know core team is working on ME2. Any word on release date yet? Hopefully we don't have to wait till 2016.
